1. As new, boxed with instructions. Perfect working order, no issues. Free markbass bag (with sticky zipper!) if collected (Swindon) Will put a pic up if anyone wants, but its just the same as this one http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=102 No trades, I'm afraid, sorry!
2. Little Mark Tube of any interest to you? Could meet you on your way up to the midlands next sat.
3. On the Euro 5 I had, it felt like a really long stretch to the lower frets, more so than any other 35" scale I've used, to the point of discomfort on a long set. Mine also had a slight neck dive, although a decent strap pretty much eliminated that. Hugely powerful output, much to the annoyance of more than one sound engineer!

Just done a transaction with Mark, and he's an absolute gent to deal with, paid in double quick time and responds to messages equally quickly!
5. Hey, Raggy, I have a compact and I'm in Swindon, if you want to check it out sometime, drop me a pm and we can try and arrange a convenient time. Got a midget too
6. OBBM has one, I believe, he lives near Guildford, I expect he'll be bringing it to the SE Bash. I have a couple you could try out if you're ever down Swindon way
7.
I wonder why Norm can't do the gig?
He'll be playing with Wilko at the Summer Sundae weekender I would think.
8. This is what I did http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=Attach...st&id=20029 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...st&id=20030 Got a couple of seat belt comforters from Tesco for about a fiver and hot glued 'em in place. Been about 3 years now, with no adverse affect on the bass.
9. Got one of these myself, and I can confirm that they are identical to the LM11 inside. Have a bump for a great amp!
10. You could try a Speakon Splitter which will work but is a bit pricey imo, but what I've done is connect 2 leads into a single speakon, no soldering involved and only takes a few minutes as stated above.
11. Another lightning quick delivery of a top quality cable from Dave Why go anywhere else!
12. My Recurve and my J-Type
13. Just bought a pair of Jazz bass pickups off of Nick and I have to say it was a very pleasant transaction, they arrived well packed and in double quick time. His measurements were 100% accurate and they fitted perfectly. I would have no hesitation in trading with him again. cheers mate!!
14. Another stunner from Moffat! Nice one Chris
15. Could you measure the bareknuckle pups for me, please, ie width x length x height . I'm looking to upgrade a mim jazz fiver pickups and dont want to modify the pickguard or route the body Cheers Andy
16. Are these the same as the SCN noiseless models? Can you tell me what the dimensions are, ie length x width x height. I am looking to upgrade a mim fiver, but I've heard there are differing sizes. Cheers Andy
17.
I know a gentleman with a fairly recent 5 string jazz, MIM i might add and he uses those "Noiseless" pickups by Fender and they sound fantastic, plenty of punch and low end clarity, especially holding up against a band with a couple of guitarists trying to drown him out.
I'd be interested to know if they dropped straight in, or whether any routing to the body was needed. I've noticed that they come in two types, a Purple pack and a Green pack. Anyone know what the difference is?
18. I've got a 2000 Mex Jazz fiver, which is a great player with a lovely feel to it, but is let down by poor pickups, resulting in a lack of clarity in a band situation. I reckon its worth upgrading the pickups but searching the 'net reveals that some users have encountered problems with the pup sizes. I'm just wondering if any members here have any experience of upgrading mim 5 string jazz pickups, and whether there are makes that will fit without modifications to the body and/or pickguard, or would getting the original pups rewound be a viable option? Any help/pointers appreciated Andy
19. Been there done that What I did was to contact This seller on ebay and got a sheet of mild steel measuring 276mm x 208mm x 1.5mm, drilled the holes and sprayed it matt black, job done, cost about ten or eleven quid in total. It was laser cut and a perfect fit, but I would advise you to check the measurements on your own amp first, as I've quoted from my ebay history, which should be ok but you never know! (There are afew places on ebay that will cut to measure, just do a search for 1.5mm mild steel sheet.) You could also get it made in Black Acrylic Perspex Plastic Sheet, but I'm not sure how rigid it would be at 1.5mm but might be worth a punt for under five quid. I got some 3mm sheet cut (for a different project) and it was dead solid. Try These guys. I found it difficult to get screws for it, though, but I still have a few left if you need 'em, assuming I can find them Hope this helps. let me know how you get on!
