[attachment=122839:DSC_7501.JPG][attachment=122840:DSC_7502.JPG][attachment=122841:DSC_7503.JPG] RS 210 with TC Cover - SOLD 8 Ohm 2 x 10 rebelstack cabinet. There is a small mark on the cabinet (see photo) and the cover for this does have a small tear on it. RS212 with TC Cover - NOW £290 8 Ohm 2 x 12 rebelstack cabinet [attachment=122842:DSC_7505.JPG][attachment=122843:DSC_7507.JPG][attachment=122844:DSC_7508.JPG] Please Note: There is a different finish between the two cabs. Personally, its never bothered me but I though I should mention it. ( I believe that the 2x10 is the newer finish) Price for the complete rig is £950 and it can be collected from near Junction 13 M25 or I can meet within a reasonable distance. Any questions, just ask. Cheers, Jim

Hi, Up for grabs is my 50W Ampeg BA-112. I bought this as my home practice amp and that's where it has stayed since I bought it in 2011. Excellent condition and makes a great practice or starter combo. Price is £110 and it can be collected from nr. J13 M25 or I can meet within a reasonable distance. Cheers, Jim [attachment=122837:DSC_7497.JPG][attachment=122838:DSC_7499.JPG]

Fender Geddy Lee basses - where are they made now?

Having just spent the morning at the new Fender Factory Tour in the US, it has really opened my eyes as to how they make their basses, how many parts are made in the US and then sent down to the Mexico plant for finishing and assembly and the overall care and attention that the people put into making these instruments. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much of the US process is hand made and finished even though they are churning out over 500 guitars/ basses everyday. They did mention that the scale of the Mexican plant, the increased use of automation and the choice to use some cheaper materials for some of the ranges all goes towards the end cost (I assume wages are a factor but they didn't mention this). If you ever get the chance, then I would strongly recommend this tour (it's stated as a 45 min tour but we were the only ones that day and it took nearly two hours to walk round every stage of the process). It is truly impressive. -
Just sold my MM Jazz to Andy. It was straightforward deal and a complete pleasure to do business with him. Cheers

I'm off to the States next month and I'm about an hours drive of the Fender Visitor centre and factory tour in Corona. Has anybody been? Worth going? Let me know. Cheers, Jim
