  1. ... and that's the 'Smilies' updated, too (until the next forum upgrade ...!).
  2. ... and done (all except the 'Smilies'; I'll do them later, one by one...). Enjoy.
  3. Didn't they feature in a TV series..? The Only Way Is SX..? ...
  4. "No, that's G minor. Move the pinky finger up one fret..."
  5. Good evening, CS, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share.
  6. And I'm quite the opposite. By default, I'm wary of any gimmicks or dressing up. I'll overlook the first impression if the show really does stand on its musical feet, but I prefer by far sobriety and good ol', plain, honesty in being 'what you are'. I can get involved in a theatrical event, such as a play, where belief is suspended on my part, and a concert of the sort would be an exception for me. No, by default, I'm not a fan of glitter, glamour or glossing-over. As was once said by more famous than I: 'Shut up and play your guitar. '
  7. No, green. Do keep up..! ...

    Hello

Most non-native speakers make fewer mistakes than the others..! And if one cannot even mildly chastise whilst educating now; where's the fun to be had in greeting our new colleagues, eh..? Spare the rod; spoil the child, what..? If you could only see the errors I make in French...
  11. +1 ^^, if the budget won't stretch to Superior; less than half its price, and very good indeed.

    Hello

Hmm... My renown is spreading faster than anticipated. I may have to re-consider these 4 x 3 poster campaigns and the billboard tour-bus circuit. Feels odd, somehow, being emulated. Mais c'est tout bon; que ça dure..!
  13. Ignore any Behringer sneering; it's a good little unit that does a job and costs little. It's not ideal for what you want, however. How do I know..? I've got one, for exactly the same reasons as you. I don't use it; now, though; I replaced it fairly rapidly with a s/h Tascam 144 interface (bought through the Marketplace here; thanks again, Paul...). Why..? One has very little control with the Behringer. No way of setting the input level, not much in the way of monitoring options; the sound quality was OK when everything matched up and the stars were aligned, but my interface does a far better job all round; I have it permanently plugged in as my 'sound card' for my PC. Recommendation: don't invest much, if anything, in the Behringer unit, despite its qualities. It's useful for recording DJ stuff, or HiFi output, but not best adapted for guitar/bass use. Look for a reasonable interface instead; they often come up in the Marketplace here for little money (and can be bought at budget prices new, too...). Just my tuppence-worth; hope it helps.
  14. Yes, yes, Robbie; of course it is. ...

    hello

Good evening, Patrb, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share.
  16. Well done, that man..! Priorities, priorities; we all know about them, but there are stars above that shine solely because you have your bass to play. I sincerely hope you can make it happen; the world would be a better place. Good luck with it all; onward and upward...
  17. I hope that this doesn't leave you bassless..!

    Hello

Good morning, Genséric, and ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. 'Thank's..?' An apostrophe too far, I'm afraid; beware the Grammar Police..!
  19. This one will get you started, for free (it's not bad at all...) MT Power Drum Kit Vst ... ... until you've saved up enough for Superior Drummer 3, which is excellent, but costs more (just under £300...). There are many others, of course, but you'd need to specify your project needs to go into more detail. Hope this helps.
  20. More Brook brilliance from the House of Jessop. Thanks for sharing; a real nugget of treasure on this forum. (I like the X/Y micing, too; class all the way ...)
  21. A speaker cab laid on its front, preferably on carpet, can allow a valve amp to be 'cranked' without 'bleeding ears syndrome'.
