  1. I agree YYbass, and it's one of the easiest bass to play that I have. If I can keep this Imperial I will delete this announce (it will depends on what I will be able to sell for my project).

  10. Personnaly, I really like the old Haz pre with three switch and a passive tone. Is it this one that you have in your '86 or is it the three band Haz pre that you like ?
  11. It's not a re-finish, it's an original finish by Fodera, but you're partially right, now Fodera doesn't do it for few years. On Talkbass, a topic talked about the fact that Fodera stopped to do it for few reasons, and the main reason was that a "not brilliant" finish is easier to preserve than a "brilliant" one for a professional bass player. Now it's not possible to have this kind of finish on a new Fodera bass. You can see some other "old" original Fodera on internet with a brilliant two-tone burst, but there are rare.
  12. Thanks Chris, To my opinion, it's my most beautiful bass, but I prefer to play with my Imperial and I need cash, so I have to put it for sale.
  13. Price drop to 5400,00€ + cost shipping.
  14. A new pic to help to see this Buckeyburl top. Thanks for your comments.
  15. I know that unfortunately I didn't have enough cash on my account when this old Monarch was for sale, but I don't remember what was the price, so thanks for the information. Now I have to sell some of my basses due to an immovable project that I would like to buy, but I hope that I will find an old Monarch to buy in few years. Thanks also for your advice concerning my asking price.
  16. Thanks Wira, I've seen this bass last week on bassgear, but to much expensive for me actually, and this bass was for sale last year on an other site for less than 5000$ if I'm right...
  17. Yes Molan, you're right, it's a V.L.Wooten model 83, but it's not an original Monarch from 1983. Its serial numer is in the 900, so this Monarch may have been produced in 1990. Personally, I really would like to find an original '83 Monarch.
  18. New price : 4800,00€ + cost shipping
