One of my favourite ever basses to play was a beatles bass copy by Tanglewood. Being a copy these days doesn't mean its going to be any less a bass than the real thing. Especially the typical sound from a semi-hollowbody.
I used to pay £60 a pop for the privilage and was never satisfied so began doing it myself with similar results. Not too difficult really if bass is a good player in the first place.
Thought it would be cool to have a place to show off basses seen online that may be of interest. I've just spotted this at my local music store. Drool....

The Ibanez Mikro Bass overall length is 39", the body is 12" wide at the lower bout and the length of the body from strap button to stap button is 19". Fits in any six string guitar gigbag I have tried.
This arrived a few days ago to accomodate my short-scale Ibanez Mikro bass. Excellent quality guitar size gigbag. More like a case than just a bag. Fits the bass with room to spare.

Just ran this setup at home as a test for almost 5 hrs with no issues and very quiet. A 600w inverter connected to a 12v battery powering an Eden 250w head playing through a 4ohm 12" cab. Should still be loud and portable enough once I get a small trolley.
Looks great. I have always regretted selling my Acoustic 140, albeit around 25 years ago! I really like the look of those tiny pedals, what are they exactly?
