  1. Brother-in-law had a look. Would like to know overall length of bass from end to end. Cheers.
  2. If you take some wet + dry sandpaper to the right places onthe black AV57 RI body it could look as tasty as this one?
  3. Interesting stuff going on here.
  4. Went to Paris for my 40th. Loved it! Welcome to B.C.
  5. Bought a jazz bass stack-knob control plate from Steve. Pain-free and swift transaction and fast delivery. Cool dude.
  6. Had one of these in black. Great sounding basses.
  7. Put a gold anodised pickguard on this and methinks it will be irresistible.
  8. When I was young I had an Acoustic 140 head matched with a Fender Bassman 2x15. Nowadays I carry an Eden WTDI in my gigbag.
  9. I've read it's available to download via itunes if that's your bag.
  10. What is the balance like when on a strap? Is there a lot of neck dive? Can't wait to see some pics.
  11. Cheers. My brother-in-law is looking for a travel bass. I will be showing him this.
  12. Ha! My home town.
  13. Love the minimal headstock size on these basses.
  14. Yep. Joe played it live while playing all those other bits. The guy had one of his keyboards play right to left to keep him on his toes and help him come up with new parts!
  15. Great colour combo. Really sets off the maple neck and white block inlays.
  16. Any pics in stronger daylight? The pickguard looks black in these. Would be very tempted if shipping up north became an option.
  17. Once had the chance to buy a lefty one of these. Sadly didnt have the readies. GLWTS
  18. First time I was aware of Mr. P I was visiting my older brother who was in a prog-rock/jazz fusion band. This would be around 1979. He put Jaco's debut record on his deck and out came Jaco at what seemed a hundred miles an hour! I kept asking "are you sure he's playing a bass?" I discovered him again years later in my late teens when I started playing fretless. His playing can still cause shock & awe to the un-initiated, haha.
  19. Agreed. Those images really show off a beautiful bass. Good luck.
  20. Would it be sacrilege to take the frets out? Cheap for a fretless one of these.
  21. Er.....tomorrow most likely. I'm a lefty but if had spotted this would have snapped it up to play it upside down. Dream bass.
