Blackie Lawless rang, he wants his bass back Ultimate bass for a W.A.S.P. fan, have a bump from an 80s glam lover!
Funnily enough, I joined the tint 'ernet, 3 months after Blackie sold 2 of his Widows, a black one with the headstock snapped clean off for $2000 and the black one with the mirrors on for $5000 After some indirect discussions with Blackie, I managed to find a MK1 Widow and spent about £700 (On top of the purchase price) and built this

For sale, my 2007 Customshop B.C.Rich Widow bass, Standard model, completed June 22nd 2007 Alder wings, Maple through neck,Ebony fretboard.DiMarzio passive pick ups V/T/V/T,Grover Tuners,ABM or Novax? individual Bridge thing Fully bound This is about as mint as you can get, my kids have put a VERY small mark in the front, about 1.5mm in size, no idea how they did it? it might have minor polishing marks, if we are going to be picky about it, and we should.Being Black these things are prone to happen. The list price for a Widow like this is $5895 or £3595. I am the original owner from new, you would be the second owner, it comes with it's Certificate of Authenticity, form fitted Hardcase. The only alteration to the bass was putting Schaller Straplocks onto it (B.C.Rich are too tight fisted to fit them for you), the strap parts of the locks will be included When I got this bass, I took it to my firend who always sets up my basses for the first time (I do it after that), and he said "This is the best damn neck I've ever touched, and it pains me to say that about a B.C.Rich", and this was while his brother's 1997 Customshop Jazz bass was there! Can't think of much else to say really, so here's some pics from the dealer But if it is, the price is £1200 plus shipping and paypal fee, shipping is calculated upon your post code and enhanced insurance, I only charge EXACT sxhipping cost, so I'll not guestimate the shipping fee as previously I did Thanks for looking

Another +1 for Charic, doesn't mess about, sees what he likes and goes for it, smooth transaction, I really hope you enjoy the Yamaha Myung bass as much as I did.........I've got a pang of remorse now, off to a corner to cry

Who owns the ironing board in the middle? Damn, that fretboard is big enough for me to park my Volvo on it
WOW, I love that Widow bass!!! but if it's anywhere near the price of this bass it's way too expensive for my wallet i'm afraid..
The list price for a Widow like this is $5895 or £3595, mine is a 2007 and apart from a 1.5mm mark in the front (bloody kids) is immaculate, I am awaiting a phone call about it tommorow, but there is no harm in telling you, I am after £1200 for it.I'm keeping this one
What made you decide to sell the two on?
Just had a rush of S**t to the brain, picked up the Turquoise one, playing it, looked and saw a sea of basses staring back at me, thought "Why the hell have I got this many basses, especially pairs", wanted to sell the red one more than the Turquoise one, no idea why really, as they both played exactly the same, weird Probably going to reduce the amount of basses I have to 6 or 7, but I might already have another BCR on the way at some point, and I totally already failed at reducing the #'s of basses, sold the Yamaha and Immediately found a Spector, bought it, oooooops
WOW! Is this 34"? I thought some of the early ones where 32" scale. Amazing bass - good luck!
B.C.Rich didn't make 32" scale length, not to my knowledge, they did make 30.5" scale length basses, virtually ALL Bich basses are 30.5" scale, this Mockingbird is 34" scale length, I have a friend who has a Koa 30.5", not sure he wants to sell it though, and it's in the U.S.A.

Here is my December 1981 U.S.A. TJ Mockingbird bass, technically it was made in Tiajuana Mexico, but it is still classed as a USA Handmade. A piece of pure class, totally hand carved, body and neck Wings are SOLID Pacific East coast maple, known as quilted maple.Rosewood Stringers.Neck is flame maple and the 24 fret fingerboard is Rosewood. It is nearly entirely original, with the exception of the jackplate, when I got it, someone had put a Football shaped plate on it, I have replaced it with the correct type plate. The saddles were on the wrong way around when it arrived, and one was beyond saving, so I had to buy a complete NEW bridge, just to get the saddle, the saddles are now the correct way around! Has 2 holes where someone moved the strap buttons, quite a bit of worming on the rear (Not through the paint).A few little dimples in the front (Not through the paint).Small loss of paint on the lower horn tip (And I mean SMALL).Worse part is laquer missing off the top face of the headstock on the right hand side as you look at it. Grover Titan tuners, Leo Quan original Badass Bridge, DiMarzio pick ups, Neal Moser designed electronics :- Booster with vol control, 6 position varitone etc etc Original hardcase, has a defective clasp, you need to move the button accross by hand to shut it, spring must be buggered Asking £1800 plus shipping, collection prefered

Same here, Myung is an awesome bassist, and it was the Turquoise one I wanted, but could only (As if that's a bad thing) get the red one at first, then got the Turquoise one (Which I have just sold) If you think the action is low on this one, you should see one of my Bich 8's (Strung as a 4), .75 of a MM gap between the bottom of the string and the 24th fret, NO buzzes

I was asked about the cosmetic damage on the basses, both have it, and both have minor laquer wear on the backs of the necks, these basses suffer heavily from wearing neck laquer, my 2 aren't too bad For some reason, low energy lightbulbs make this bass seem greener than it is 2 dings above the bridge 1 ding on the lower horn edge Minor scuff marks on the laquer edge Small ding on rear Weird scratch on fretboard at 3rd fret
