Not digging it mate,it looks like the bastard lovechild of a Fender Jazz and a Gibson hunderbird-sorry -
The only 10 string manufacturers that I know of, although there are bound to be others, are Godlyke & Dean. From what I can gather Godlyke are a USA brandname for the Japanese company which makes Bacchus handmade guitars Scoop
I know the owner of Godlyke guitars in America-he is mainly a seller of vintage pedals, the basses are just another branch of his company
Lorne - what's the scale length on BCR 8-stingers? They look shorter that than the others. - 30"?
All Bich basses were 30.5" scale length,as per Neal Moser's design-however there were approx 4x 34" scale 4 string versions made-Neal has one of them

I've got 2 1985 USA B.C.Rich Bich 8 string Supreme (Far left) 1979 USA B.C.Rich Bich 8 string (on the right) Why do you think they only have 4 strings on them?-because the 8 string sound is novel only for the first few days and then sounds crap-also the strings are bloody expensive-you'd get the same result with a good Octave pedal such as a Boss unit I also sold a 1960's Hagstrom 8 string last year
Jeez I obviously hang around with the wrong people..........GIVEN a bass that Phil Lynott used? He's one of my biggest heroes. You wait til I see my mates next. Tight gits.....
I didn't know the guy from Adam,he lives in South Africa, but had left the bass in his parents attic for 24 years!!! I had to do a 500 mile round trip to Northants to get it
MB1. I was wondering who was buying these BC Rich basses(I remember them ,but they always seemed a little too odd to me,in the way a musicman bongo does) now i know.....,must admit ,i didnt know Mr Phil Lynott used one.The one BC Rich bass i do remember, which surely must be a famous one, must be the red one Suzi Quatro used to have(black leather jumpsuit, on top of the pops with a red BC Rich bass ,suprised i remembered the bass actually!) .You havent got that one have ya?. Random Bloke indeed......cheeky! All the best! MB1.
Which red B.C.Rich bass? she had a few,if it is the Red Bich she had,the Suzi STILL owns it and a red Eagle I didn't buy all my basses,The '79 Bich I just got back,I swapped for the Yamaha ,and the Mockingbird that Phil used-I was GIVEN A friend of mine owns the Ironbird bass used in the Megadeth "Wake up dead" video,2 of Rick Derringer's Stealths and a custom Snake guitar that used to be George Lynch's

So,a possibility arose for me to get back one of my basses I sold 15 years ago,My BCR Eagle was a very firm favorite to be heading out of the door, but as the owner was a 5 string player,he decided to take my Yamaha John Myung instead (I'm REALLY missing it already ) The Bass I got back is one of the 2 1979 Bich 8 strings I used to own,it has slight issues with it's electrics, not bassy enough, but Both pre-amps work and the Varitone kinda works,I'm hoping it's just dirt,It worked a bit better once I used servicsol on it,but if needs be it'll eventually get new pick ups and a new Varitone Anyway, let me re-introduce you to "Barbara" my old 1979 Koa and Flame Maple Bich 8 string bass Now to get some more money together and get another Yamaha John Myung
