Morning all. Well its exam time again. Rockschool Grade 5. Exam starts at 11.20 on Sunday 12th. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll try and post a pic later on. I don't feel tense when playing but I'll look into it. BTW I always play seated could that be something to do with it?

I seen to be having some aching in my right arm which I think is caused by playing my bass. Its mainly in my elbow but there's also I bit of aching in my wrist and shoulder. I play every day for 1.5 - 2 hours so nothing excessive. I really don't want to stop playing but I don't of there is anything else i can do? Does anyone else have the same problem who can offer me some advice? I'd really appreciate it

Morning all. I hoping for a little help. I've been playing for a year and a half and I'm happy enough with my actual playing its the improvising and writing side of things that I want too improve. I know my scales and modes and can play them all day long but when it comes to applying them to music things get a little muddy. My bass lines tend to be very basic boring What can I do to get passed this?
