    Up for trade is my Shuker Jazz. The bass has been totally babied since I bought and is in 100% perfect condition. The bass was born in September 2010 and just like all of Jon's basses it plays like a dream. Korina body with polyester bass coat, pheonix red candy paint with wet look gloss finish Mint green scratch plate Maple one piece neck with carbon rods for support Rose wood fretboard with mother of pearl inlays Seymour Duncan pick up Gotoh bridge black Gotoh tuners black John East J-Retro My only reason for wanting a trade is that this bass doesn't have 24 frets and I have no spare cash to buy another one. These photos where taken before I fitted the J-retro If you need any more pics or info just let me know As for trade options I'm looking for something of equal quality but with 24 frets.     I need to get a high g to play a few songs but I only have 21 frets not the 24 needed to reach the high note. Is it possible to tune up my g string so I can get the note I need ?

    Hello all, The amp I currently have is a Roland Cube 30 which has some on board effects. The effects are controlled by two dials the first controls the chorus flanger and t wah and the second controls the delay and reverb. Its a pretty cool amp. The effects can be controlled by a foot switch. After pricing one up on the net I've decided I'd like to have a go at making one but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone know where I can get some info?

    Just out of curiosity, What's the height of you're strings at the 12th fret? Mine is a fraction higher than the thickness of a 1p piece
