  3. BTW I've got a book called "simplified sight reading for bass". Its really helped me so far.

Its the dotted notes that throw me off. Practice is the way forward I suppose. Annoying though

  11. I've been thinking of getting a new bass but then I had this idea. Instead of buying a new bass with 24 frets is it possible to get a new neck made and swap it with the neck I have now (21 frets)? It would save me a lot of money

  20. I've never done any transcribing before and I'm considering giving it a shot. I really think it well help my playing. Has anyone any advice on how to get started like what songs to try and how to approach them?
