1.
On friday, I plan to wear the hat my team got on tour, namely, a shiny gold roman soldier one with the bright red fluffy bit on top lol. Pics to follow if the others let me lol. Zach
Oo want one! I shaved my mohawk off at the weekend - feel naked now.
 2.
I used to wear pink ear muffs (because i told my girlfriend i needed ear protection onstage) a kilt and once played with a soft toy minkey strapped to my bass
Minkey?... You said minkey?
 3. Hey Sam. Can't wait to see how this one turns out. FWIW the strings on my S.U.B. are pretty well aligned with the poles. This bridge of the bay has the groove slightly further over. It's a big old pre-Flea but you could just use the E and A saddles off it, it's only a tenner.
 4. I've only had 2 gimmicks that I can remember. Years ago when I quit smoking I got hooked on Chupa Chups and always went on stage with one in me gob, eventually folk would turn up to our gigs with spares for me in case I ran out mid set but I got sick of them and I like a beer when I'm playing and the 2 don't mix. More recently, my daughter gave me Jerremy the rubber duck to take to one of our gig for her. He spent the better half of a year strapped to my headstock. I put him back in the toy box when I got mu S.U.B.
 5.
Blimey, found another pre-chins photo from the archives! Nice bass though innit....one I seriously regret letting go
Love it.
Is that Star Trek communicator there on your manly shoulder?
Nope. I see what you mean but the source snap is actually this un.
Is it wrong to find this attractive??
Yes - on soooo many levels. I am flattered though.
 6.
....Turns out i can't put it in there without changing the pickups so it's not available for sale.
Make up your mind then. Ha ha sorry couldn't resist.
 7. He's travelling from somewhere in Scotland to Preston right? What's the diff of putting in an extra 30 odd miles and just keeping on going to Manchester???
 8. I usually keep my bass control full on for live stuff but I'm up and down on the treble and volume all the time dependent on the song.
 9.
He is on BBC breakfast with it.
Ha ha beat me, I saw that too. Some dude played a ropey Star Spangled Banner on it - right handed! I think they said it has been sat in Noel Redding's nephews garage for years. They're expecting to get around £1,100,000 for it.
 10. Bermp. And a wee reminder that the Ashdowns put out a stonking 575 watts. :brow:
 11.
PCOS is no joking matter, you guys ...
It must be bloody contagious. I woke up this morning to find this in the mirror.
 12.
Woo hoo - my first Basschat purchase.
You have chosen wisely young padawan. Sorry I watched Star Wars III today.
 13.

Has this been airbrushed?
 14. I think that he's asking a very reasonable "offers around" price for it considering that the the first 10 uk goolged results for "Ashdown MAG 410T" come in at £215-250 and then I should imagine there's shipping on top. My 2p is that perhaps you should look to the PM button for interfering suggestions like that.
 15.
HOLY CRAP!!! 3,148.6 MB removed. No wonder it took a bit longer than "under a second"!
Blimey! Because when I first started building 'putas it was all about efficiency, speed and security, I'm pretty anal about clearing my cache etc. and usually do it each time I'm through with whatever webby I've been on and ALWAYS after doing internet banking or ebay etc. You might notice a slight increase in web browsing speed now that you've gotten rid of all that unwanted baggage. Remember too that all that stuff that builds up in your cache could be (if exploited) used against you. You should also set you cache to a more manageable size, say 50-80 Mb.
 16. .... been looking for one of these for ages. Now I can get that Funk Baroque project started.
 17. Boing, and back up to £2900 again.
 18.
That's the right one, cheers! I've found "delete cookies" in my internet options from the tools dropdown, but that'll lose all my saved passwords etc wont it? As long as you're all seeing the right one it's fine. Cheers!! *computer n00b alert!*
Download and install this wee beastie (say yes to everything except the yahoo toolbar <- coz you don't need that crapware). Then right click on your Recycle Bin click on >Run Cleaner that clears your cache and gets rid of any nasties too. But here's the clever bit -> each time you go to a favourite website and login, right click on your Recycle Bin again but select >Open CCleaner >options >cookies then copy over the cookies from that website (eg. basschat.co.uk) to the right hand column. Now every time you run the cleaner (which you should do often) it gets rid of everything except your login details.
Tea => keyboard That's some impressive wood you've got there!
Thanks, I've always been complimented on it. :brow: If you're ever in Aberdeen and need something to sit on you're welcome to come and try it for size. We are talking about the rocking chair aren't we?
 20.
A bit excited whilst playing the acoustic there!!!
Ha ha I never noticed that before. Just goes to show that the old saying about big feet is true though.
 21. Ha ha you were total crapping it yesterday and now today you're all blasé about everything. Well done doll. When's the next un? Bet you can't wait.
 22.
Now I'm just bored.
Dude, I love your comments. Sarah : All the best for tonight.... ... but I don't think you'll need it you sound as though you are the most prepared first timer in the history of first timers. Looking forward to your breakdown in tomorrows "how was your gig" thread. Break a leg.
 23.
Thats not a real place
Lawl
 24.
... Allow yourself to learn too. Expect the unexpected - but don't try and work out what that will be.
+1 Word.
