Starting a new post for this as it wouldn't let me change the price above, hope that allowed... I'd consider trades for jazz bass necks - preferably with blocks and binding but open to other options. Must be 7.25" radius and preferably 70s U shape type. Open to offers and would also consider a sale without the tuners for a reduced price. - This is a rarer ‘B width’ neck stamped October 1968. - In good condition for its age. - Truss rod is a little stiff but works. Beautiful nitro checking on the headstock. Lovely dark rosewood fretboard, there are a couple of dents in the top side (see pic) but none effect playability. - The tuners are original ‘Fender’ stamped. - Non-original brass nut. - Hootenanny button on back of headstock. If I’ve missed anything give me a shout. I want the buyer to be happy so would much prefer you to inspect in person (in Chessington, Surrey or central London) before buying but also happy to ship. After a bit of a change of heart - I've decided to keep this precision body and just swap out the neck. Big clear out of strap locks (and other hardware, see my other listings). Lots of sets of both new and old style Schaller S Locks, more than are pictured below. They are all compatible with each other, as I found out! All are nickel or chrome, I also have lots of extra Schaller strap buttons if you just need some of them.
