  1. Sensible offers considered for outright purchase.
  2. Please can we discuss this by PM and not in open forum.
  3. So long ago. It was Move It by Cliff and The Shadows.
  4. My gigging days are over so my Genzler Magellan 350 Amplifier is now surplus to requirements. In excellent condition and complete with carry bag and mains lead. Specification: The MG-350 represents the pinnacle in the next generation in compact, lightweight, high-output, versatile, bass amplification. The MAGELLAN® 350 is the little brother of the larger MAGELLAN® 800 but only in relation to its smaller compact size. The feature set and 350 watt output power level of this tiny amplifier make it a “big boy” in its amplifier class. As well, the MG-350 delivers exactly what players have come to expect from the GENZLER® design team -- performance, versatility and reliability. From natural, pristine, transparent reproduction of the bass instrument to classic, vintage harmonic textures, the MG-350 provides the tonal pallet needed to cover all of the bassist’s amplifier requirements and is ideal for electric or upright bassists. Design features Include: •Clean Channel – ◦Pristine and Articulate •Dual-Curve Variable Contour Circuitry ◦Curve A -- Classic to Modern -- Mid Scoop Curve ◦Curve B -- Thicker to Vintage -- Low-Mid Bump w/Tapered Top End •Active 3 Band EQ w/Parametric Mid Control •Signal Mute Switch •Thermal Sensing Variable Speed Fan Cooling •Full Featured XLR Direct Output Interface •2.67 Ohm Min. 7. This one. My workhorse for about 10 years and I miss it. Where are you now? Please come home. .
  8. Phase 1 completed - Sansamp BDDI replaced with Bassrig 64 - I do like that Bassrig. Next Phase will be to: 1. remove the Sweeper and Sub Up and fit an HX Stomp 2. change the Yler battery for a Harley Benton Powerplant with has enough oomph to drive the Stomp.
  9. Some years ago I made a similar cable, which I still have, to run a pair of Schroeder 1212L in series. Wicked. If you wire all the links, 1- to 1+, you achieve the same result and don't need to differentiate between which connector goes to the amp and the cabs.
  10. Ah yes, that was made for me in 2010. Subsequently sold in 2016 as it didn't quite fit in an Elvis tribute band. 😀 Sold on again in 2020. I wonder where it is now?
  11. Just been mulling over this problem and it would be simple to use an in-line 15dB XLR attenuator to achieve the same.
  12. A few more pictures.
  13. Si, this is probably a dumb question but why don't you take your D.I. straight out of the Stomp?
  14. Definitely not required.
  15. A bit late to the party but happy to help. Well done BC.
  16. So annoyed that I can't be there. See you all next year.
  17. Sadly events have conspired against me and I'm not going to be able to make it after all. An old shoulder injury caused by a nasty fall 18 months ago has resurrected itself and makes driving distances painful. On top of that we've just returned from a 2 week cruise where Covid appears to have been pretty rife. I've tested negative but I still have a really evil cold which I wouldn't want to spread around. Looking forward to coming again next year.

I have an original EBMM Sterling and one of these converted to fretless. Excellent basses.
  19. Rob Allen Lined Fretless Mouse 30 Bass complete with hard case. Excellent condition. If you are looking at this then you know what it is. No trade offers please as I am semi-retiring and trying to reduce my collection.
  20. Sadly it didn't work. Maybe someone can edit it.
  21. @scrumpymike - everything he owns unless he sells it between now and then @Rich - Shuker 5-string, something else (will toss a coin on the day), Genz Benz Shuttle 9.2, Barefaced Super 12T cab. @Kateplaysbass - Ashdown CTM-100 and LB212, Pawn Shop Mustang, medium scale ACG Finn, and maybe also ACG Recurve and Bass Collection 5 string fretless, since I'm thinking about offloading both of those @Woodinblack - Bongo, just to wind people up @Richard R - Brawley 5 string, as usual, HB 5 String thing with Roland hex pickup and V-bass COSM synth. @BreadBin - something interesting @chyc - a very nice double bass, an Ashbory Bass, GSS 06B400MKD combo, and possibly Warwick Streamer fretless, Sandberg Custom 5 with Delano XTender, Sandberg TT Marcus Miller rip-off, BC 110T cabinet, BC 112mk3 cabinet, Acoustic Image Coda @TRBboy - Frost Custom Basses PJ5 (my first build from scratch), Sandberg California TT5 Passive, possibly my customised Yamaha BBN5, Markbass Stu Amp 1000w, GR Bass GR 410+ (1200w, 4 ohm), a fairly unexciting pedal board 😅, & converted Trace 1x15" cab, if it's in a satisfactory state by then @Stub Mandrel - Joyo BadASS & PJB C2, three or four hopefully 'interesting' basses. @obbm - '71 Jazz, '73 Precision, Sadowsky HPJ, Genzler Magellan 350, BF One10 x2, Pedals plus TBA plus raffle donation.
  22. I'd like to add myself to the list but I have no idea how to create the orange name thingys. All I seem to get is plain text. Can anyone help?
  23. Member Bill Fitzmaurice should be able to explain exactly why.
  24. In answer to question 3 the experts always recommend using identical cabinets i.e. get another 2 x 10 not pair your 2 x10 with a 1 x 15.
