1. Berg cabs are excellent. I use the NV610. They've blown me away so much since moving to them. I don't think I could ever switch to anything else now. They are an integral part of my sound. They are literally the best out there IMO.
2. Gotta love a bit of Frank Bello, Spreading the Disease era especially! Met him once up in Manchester when my old band supported the thrax back in the day. Nice guy. Medusa!!!!!!!!
3. The price on the MB is rediculous, still...wouldn't mind having a blast on the MB just for jokes. I'm sure it would sound class. Does make life that little much easier diagnosing potential faults, but is it worth paying through the nose for it? Hopefully my lottery win will come through this week...
4. Marshall guv'nor springs to mind?
5. Spector Euro LX Little Mark Berg NV610 (and a few indespensible stompers) Tone heaven. My gas has defo been quelled.
6.
Hi I thought you were robbed and this was one of the things stolen?
Yeah that's correct. I had one on my board already and have been lucky enough to recently nab 2 brand new boxed ones from my local freeads.
So tempted by both of these pedals. Would the Cream Pie compare to a Tubescreamer? I have a knackered Ibanez Soundtank Tubescreamer and it's dying on me. Pics?
Can't say I've tried a tubescreamer Joe. I've got pics on my phone. Will have to upload some when I get a chance, hopefully this evening. Cheers
7. Firstly I have for sale a Zoom UF-01 Ultra Fuzz. These are old school analogue stompers that are true bypass and are sure to appreciate in value over the next few years. These are excellent fuzz boxes with a range of super cool features such as gate and reso. The gate helps create some synthy gated fuzz type sounds so it really is a awesome box of tricks. Did I mention that it also sounds awesome! Unboxed and in excellent condition. £60 delivered I also have a tonefactor cream pie up for grabs. It's a really nice low gain overdrive. They are now unavailable under the tonefactor brand so this is collectable, not to mention a great sounding OD unit. Boxed and in mint condition. £55 delivered
8. IME I actually find that the traveler 104 is an awesome cab! I loved mine to bits and saw it as clean and clear and able to get real loud with the right amp. But again, that's my own experience....
9. Totally down with Frank Bello; Spreading the Disease is a great thrash album. Stunning sound and playing! In fact that's my fav Anthrax album. Digging Summer Welch from Baroness atm.
10. Yeah they're supposed to sound mint with a thunderfunk or GK head. My LM drives it really well (450w) but I'd certainly like to try a V-4 or bassman 135 through it, I just know it'd sing!!

barber ltd

I use a barber LTD silver for my low gain overdrive needs. It's an ace pedal, very well built with a real nice basic sound. I'd say it's quite a transparent OD and just adds a nice subtle grit to the tone. It's a low gain circuit so even with the gain maxed your not gonna get anything ott, however in this position you can get a nice saturated tube sort of sound. It has bass and presence trimmers inside for even more sound flexibility. I really find it stacks well with other low gain overdrives to produce medium-high gain sounds. Overall, I'd say go for it!
12. +1 for some pics and a price

14. Gotta love a bit of torche. Got the new disk on it's way from the states, should be cool.
15. Dude, just get a spector!
16. Loving both of those. The black one is particularly nice.
17. Cool story! I would SO love to go over to the workshop!!
18. I'll be honest. I've bought literally 2 or three things from the Bass Centre, and every time they've messed my order up, delayed it and 'run out of stock' without giving me any piece of mind notification. I wouldn't shop there again based on this incompetency. Compared to the service I've had from Bass Central in the states these guys are a joke.
19. Having taken delivery of a NV610 from BC the other day, I can only agree. This is the best cab I've ever heard/played through in my life. Absolutely stunning, smooth even sound wherever you are on the fretboard. Very deep tone. Sounds like heaven with a nice clean bass through it. I'm looking forward to revving this beast up with the full band tomorrow!!!!
20. I'm intersted in the preamp as well. Can you PM me a price please?
21. Totally - try lowering the pickup at the E string. Are your strings old? Do you use compression?
22. Bump with final price drop £250
23. Bump with pictures of the 151. You can see it at the bottom of my MB stack.
