  1. The Edward Cullen of the bass world!
  2. Can I be added to the list?
  3. Ah fook...
  4. Would you be willing to post?
  5. It is a no name brand, which could mean it is terrible! I don't honestly think I'd sell it as I know it'd be worth jack all! but if i spent £100 doing up the pickups and a nice paint job she'd be dandy, right?
  6. I found a dirt cheap tele on gumtree for £20! not bad so i bought it. Now he had sprayed it black but it looks to be a yellow beneath that. mmy question is it wise to spend a bit of money and make it into my little project or put the money i was going to spend on it into someting a wee bit better? The paint seems to be in pretty bad nick and there are a few scrapes here and there. so maybe been dropped or bashed a bit. What do you think is it worth it?
  7. so good and bad reports. I would like to get my hands on either a WT550 or 405... or even a WT400. was it a good price you got for it, much interest in it?
  8. Aye, I think that goes for everything I suppose! I might keep a hold of the mesa and try to get a WT405 or 550 in and sell the one I prefer least maybe. However money is always the issue in today's economy! Unless there was someone in Belfast who would let me try it! tehe. Does Mark (poptart, i thinl) still come to this site? if so would he explain the intake of eden products?
  9. So it has been a while since I've been on, I suppose life caught up with me leaving me with very little time. So hello old friend, also I love the new layout very clean and nice! Anyhu, I have a mesa boogie walkabout that I purchased from here (thanks, BB2000) but before this I always wanted an eden as I love the sound of some famous people ya know. Well I'm wonder are they as good as I think they are? Would I be mad for trading the mesa in for a WT550 or WT405? Any opinion is welcome! Also I see bass direct have a couple in now, what is up with that? Thanks
  10. Do you get discount? I'm sure there will be plenty of BC'ers that would be interested to know! haha
  11. Thanks a lot for getting back to me! I will have a go at this when I get home! I was trying muting over the weekend and I think I will have to really practice it, as I'm not used to having to weight my left hand. Poor technique I'm sure but everyone has to start somewhere.
  12. Is anyone in the market for a compressor?
  13. So I got it in my head that I needed a compressor pedal, but at the minute I don't think it should be at the top of my list. I bought it off here a couple of weeks ago, used it a couple of times. perfect condition, looking to get back what I paid. Emma Electronics Transmorgrifier £100 + postage Thanks
  14. Aww lovely I'd be tempted to have a try on it haha!
  15. Well I don't play slap. I play rock and more melodic stuff, however I don't really know how to use it. Would I be better off selling it or just trying to play with until I start to understand it better? I would also like to move into recording nothing serious just being able to mess around. Would it be more clear to me then?
  16. So this muting business, how do I do that. It is something I think I really need to practice! But have no idea how to actually do it!
  17. So I bought this a while back and I sort of understand the principles of compressors I wonder if I need it? Would it be better to just work on my technique what do you use them for?
  18. I would link to YouTube but I'm on a silly iPad and don't know how to do it! Is it some sort of mute?
  19. I have been trying and trying to work out this song for ages. I just don't know what techniques to use to get that sound! Any help would be much appreciated! Ben kenney joint custody, is the song. Thanks!
  20. Drummer, Why are you using a pick? Fingers sound better and warmer. Me, do you use different sticks? Oh and I had previously played the rest of the songs with fingers, nob
