1.
You'll probably like this one too - see the man in action
What is the bass he's playing there?! Edit. It's a Avandaro Bass by Ansir Music (It says at the end)
2. I love this version of the song! Also very helpful if you ever want to learn it aswell!
3. First up Debs (May I call you Debs?) I really liked your track the fretless playing and your accent were fantastic. As was the spoken word aspect (and tbh the singing was none too shabby aswell). Steve your track was beautiful. Skol/Urbs that was such a well put together and produced track. You must have been on the ball trying to get organise the four of you! The beats and bass playing were like . I throughly enjoyed it. Mornats got my vote though because of the use of the film dialogue. I loved it! Everyone else did fantastic, just because I didn't mention you didn't mean I didn't enjoy it
4. Stealth bass
5. That was genius! Pure genius!
6.
How much difference does this make? My bass has no shielding. You access the electronics through a panel on the back, not under a scratchplate. Would it be worth fitting some? Apologies if this is the wrong thread.
It may have conductive paint in the control cavity which can be used instead I don't know the specifics but I'm doing it because I have two volumes instead of one volume and one tone on my p bass copy atm. Hoping this may solve it.
7. Hello I know this probably should be in the wanted section but I was wondering if anybody had any spare shielding tape as I ran out half way through my scratchplate and that's all that's left now. If anybody does that would be wonderful Thanks Edit.. I've been told the copper tape to stop slugs works equally as good so all fixed now!
8.
The back of the neck picture in the first post shows what it looks like from the back.
Ooh! That'll be lush!
9. So after reading this.. I have come to the conclusion.. that I won't be getting a wife..
10. I really like that bit of flame maple! Also.. The truss rod from the back is something I've not seen before so that's very interesting
11. That is going to look fantastic!
12. I just used some lacquer, pretty much the same as that one. But I used groundwound strings on mine so it doesn't groove it too much
13. Leave it how it is, it looks good as it is
14. That lower horn is tiny! Also that fretboard looks lovely!
15. Try a different type of music. If I ever get bored of playing bass I listen to a new type of music and jam along with that. I used to be into rock - def leppard, motley crue, iron maiden that kind of thing.Over a couple of weeks I stopped playing bass and listening to music completely as I was fed up with it. But I thought to myself, this is what I want to do, you can't stop so I picked up the bass and instead of playing along with rock songs I picked a genre I hated, at the time, Rap and played along with Eminem and NWA etc. and then from there I got into Hip-Hop and now I love all of that stuff and listen to it more than I do rock music. Hope it doesn't last too long
16.
Better known for a fretless Stingray.
Ah okay thanks for the heads up
17. Doesn't Pino play a fretless P? Not 100% sure though
Oh, that's odd. I said 'Sunburst' as I'd forgotten about the tactic of taking a meh-looking body & laminating a prettier veneer over it for a 'burst or trans finish. Maybe they just do the lot these days & they get sprayed whatever. This isn't really helping is it? From what you've described, it sounds suspicious. If it were me I'd be sanding that veneer right off to see if there's a body joint that's failing. If that turns out to be the case it'd need remedying before re-finishing otherwise it's likely to keep moving. P.
Okay, that's what I'll do! Thank you for your help

Hi!
Hi Myke, nice to meet you and everyone else as well of course! HND (Higher National Diploma) is a course which takes the first two years of Uni and teaches it to usually a smaller group of students and at a much lower cost - mine is £5600 a year instead of £9000, which is quite a difference, after that of course I would have to 'top-up' at a university to get my diploma
That sounds exactly the same as my course! I should have known that! Thank you!
