1. It seems to me you were leaning towards the Yamaha from the beginning. Don't second guess yourself, just go for it!
2. As of yet, I have no ideas
3.
Is your Marshall a combo or a cab ? My google search came up with both. Anyway, whichever it is, if you have a power amp output from the Roland Cube and an input to the cab (or cab portion of a combo), then you should be able to power the Marshall with the Roland. Just make sure that the Roland amp can handle an 8 ohm speaker load, it certainly should be able to, but please check first.
It's just the cab.
4. Due to a very kind Ian Savage I am now the owner of a Marshall 1x15 DBS. The back says 8ohms power handling 300w RMS. My question is if I bought a speakon to jack would I be able to power the cab through my 100w Roland Cube amp? I ask because I know nothing about amps and cabs so it's all over my head atm. Cheers for the help. Please be kind
5. Woah! Awesome! Love the tone
6. Is the new picture up yet?
7.
That's really nice!! Think the white scratch plate sets if off better than a black one. well done!!
Thank you I'm only 95% happy with it as it's not perfect but I've learnt so much as I've gone along and now I want to do one from scratch! But first I'm going to attempt to build a U-Bass, built to the spec of the Kala U-Bass. But need to look into it a bit more first
8. I love how your 'temporary' website is still up That finish is gorgeous and the heel idea is brilliant P.s. Yes I know this is a thread resurrection but it deserves it and I just had to comment!
9. Okay.. I lied.. Here's a pic of it against the cab I picked up for Ian Savage. The scratch plate is still not done. I need to round the edges and countersink the screws. I also need to file the nut to get the action lower. May need to shim the neck up a bit more aswell as the bridge is as low as it can go. Oh and need to shield everything. But I've been enjoying playing it until I find the time to do it For your viewing pleasure
10. Do you play each and every one of those? or are some for looks or rarity etc.? They do look bloomin' lovely though, especially the Fbass? If I counted right I'm a huge fan of the natural wood finish Edit. I wrote I'm a huge fan of wood.. thought I best change it
11. That's a shame I hope you didn't spend too much on it
12. No way, I've never seen a guitar with really lush shapes and wood grain and shizz!
13. Thank you for all your comments I will enter next month if I get inspired by the pic!
14. He's a giant!
15. I've started to recently as I noticed I had bad technique (very bent wrist) so am trying to keep that in check but not while gigging
16. Gotta show us the orange one hanging up!
17.
Right then, I won this 'ere eBay auction for a Marshall DBS400 http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1439.l2649 and then my car failed its MOT, so I'm unable to drift down and collect it, 'specially as I start back at work next week . However, I'm only actually wanting the head - if someone was local enough and kind-spirited enough to pop to W-S-M and pick the rig up (I'd pay for it via PayPal first, of course) and then post the head onto me (hopefully twenty quid or so tops through a courier company like interparcel) you will gain yourself a 'free' Marshall DBS 1x15'? Of interest to anyone?
I can see if I can grab a lift from one of my parents as I live in Weston-super-Mare But i'll have to find out tomorrow as it's too late now. Is this okay for you?
18. I think I just got my vote in! Again I went with the one which sounded most natural. Hopefully will enter next month. Uni has finished now so I have much more time and I want to improve my mixing abilities (Next to none ) Congrats to everybody
19. Possibly? First time voter! Loved listening to all of the different tracks. I found it extremely hard to vote, I thought I'd made my mind up but apparently not Anyway SKOL unfortunately you were just pipped at the post but I wanted to compliment you on that horn line, it just blew me away! I was thinking of entering these but it would just not be up to the same level as everyone elses! All in all everyone did a great job but sadly I could only vote for one!
20. It would be interesting the hear what the pickup sounds like
