1.
Sorry! I couldn't remember what it was called. It's an insert which means that you use bolts rather than screws, so you can change necks etc without stripping the neck's holes. I still can't remember what they are called.
Ah that sounds like a good idea
2. I really love the second body. The grain is lovely
3. Bolt system thing? Looks very nice, love the headstock
4. Welcome
5. Purchased a P bass Kit off of John. Brilliant and was extremely helpful problem shooting an issue I had. (Not with his product, that's all good!) Would buy again, no problem!
6. Right so update.. I couldn't find a scratchplate that fits so.. I made one! It's white.. Not quite finished but I put the strings on and it's officially unplayable But hopefully tomorrow my tutor can help set it up. Pics tomorrow!
7. Isn't RENT one? That's doing well. Good luck
8.
No I haven't asked her yet, just getting advice at the mo. I will ask her soon but she is a good friend of my now ex - urgh life sucks sometimes. Hopefully that won't cause a rift lol. I can't see why she would say no, but she can be quite busy. Feel stupid for asking advice now haha!
Ah Maybe you should ask and then if she says yes, tell your mate
9.
Life is full of surprises though haha! I will. Or would it be okay to ask her first, if she says yes I can then tell my mate, if she says no then no need to and the World will be no different?
So has she not said yes to being in the band?
10.
Erm, not really! She broke up with him. Her heart was in a different place.
Well tbh.. If it was me. I'd get her in the band but tell him before hand so it doesn't surprise him. Music first
11. Did they break up amicably?
12.
Can I just add that it's quite possible that these will be illegal copies that someone has scanned to pdf of the MTI scores which are available via licensed rent in hard copy form from MTI, who might not take too kindly to public sharing of their property. Be careful!
This did not occur to me. Thank you So to the powers that be, if this is true please zap this page into oblivion, if necessary
13. I've owned the 100w Roland Cube for a few years now and my cousin had it for a few more before me and the only problem I had was a blown fuse. Unfortunately this one doesn't have a looper but apart from that it's really good. Also really loud, I've used it for small gigs and it handled it fine. Not used any of the others though so can't compare.
14. Updated first post. Thanks so far and please keep them coming.
15. Rocky horror would be wonderful thank you
16. Hello I was wondering if anybody has any music scores on pdf as I love musicals and I want to practice sight reading a bit. Double Whammy really. Move as applicable
17. I still have this.. Somebody want this?
18.
Not wanting to hi -jack your thread mate, but does anyone have suggestions for a mic for mic-ing up your cab. I had been pointed towards an EV RE20 , but am open to any suggestions
RE-20s sound lush, my favourite for micing in the studio. Shure Beta52 maayybeee. Shure SM57.. Not bad, cheapish mic Depends if you're thinking live or studio tbh
19. Hello
20.
Whilst all the other intro threads have the same dedicated 3 or 4 members welcoming the new members, this one has lots, because it's a well respected and famous musician, who I assume a lot of people on here look up to. Still, It's cool to have such an experienced and well known bassist on the forum.
Oh I know, I think it's fantastic that he's on the site Just made me chuckle that was all
21. This has got to be the longest Hello thread ever But.. Hello
