I bet almost all of rock musicians know music theory, maybe not to the same level as classical players but enough to get them by. This in itself doesn't make them ignorant.

I recently bought a Yamaha TRB5 preowned, of course. It's lush! It was around the £400 mark. But you do have to be lucky with them coming up at the time you want to buy.
