Hey I've seen some kits on the internet to build your own bass and I think that sounds cool. I've always wanted to build my own bass and this seems like a good place to start and also I've never played a 6 string so by doing this I could kill two birds with one stone BUT my questions to you are.. Have any of you ever build one yourself and how did that turn out? Build quality but also soundwise. And also is it worth spending the money I know they are just over a hundred pounds but I'm living on student finance right now so money is tight. Cheers Mike
