  2. Ok whos going to take the last of these off me? All offers entertained.
  3. I am sure that these pins will make a difference to any bass. As it's a simple matter of getting more overall vibration. But it won't change your bass into something else. Just enhance what it already has. And the stability benefits it can add especially for cheaper instruments that may now be so sturdy
  4. Thanks! Glad you like it. That is yours in the making. Yeah the shorter pins, do have less vibrating potential. However the strength and solidity on the wooden pin, as you've noticed seems to be an asset to everyone. Thanks for the kind words. Ben

  12. Jake is dead right, relaxed posture is so important. I'm slowly getting together a blog post about this with some photos and stuff. Will post when I have time to finish it
  13. Thumb position pizzicato can be a fairly complicated subject. But briefly some thoughts. Firstly poor left hand technique in all resisters will result in reduced sound. Varying, or reduced pressure, means the energy your putting in with your right hand the create the note is not all going to note production, but being dissipated where your not holding the string down enough. In all registers using the weight of your arm is really important especially in thumb position. Rather than try to use solely your finger( and or thumb) to push the note, let the weight of your arm push down through your hand to hold the note. Also I find I need to move my right hand closer to the bridge to produce a stronger sound in thumb position. I will write a blog post in the next few days on this, as there are a lot of other things to write about, and I will post it here. Good Luck
  14. Thanks Rabbie.
