I'm thinking of sell a couple of basses and a Strat to raise money to purchase something that I want but will end up selling after not using it for years. WTF is the matter with me. I recently bought a 500w Ashdown 2x 12 because I wanted one and I haven't gigged for nearly 20 years. I think I need Basschat Detox.

I found that giving up the 10 pints and a couple of spliffs before going on stage cured this. Before that, I couldn't find the stage, never mind forgetting the bass line. 😀

I played in a Status Quo tribute band for 6 years. We had a blast and got to gig with John Coghlan's as Coghlan's Quo. Biggest gig we did was a corporate gig in Dartford at a Pharma Company's 100th anniversary party. 5000 people giving it "Quo oh a ho ah." Also played in a Wishbone Ash covers band back in the '70's. Didn't make the money back that I spent on gear, did have a blast though.
