1.
Someone will get a great instrument for not much dosh. Great basses to gig and with the added bonus of being light in weight and well balanced.
Thanks for that Gary. Bump time.
2.
Played through one of these tonight at the rehearsal studio, interesting little amp with loads of gizmos, built in effects ,tuner and compressor etc... Great fun with the filter and synth effect.... Lots of fun managed to get a nice fat full tone out of it too ... For the money , a great little amp Glwts
Thanks for that Wonky. Time for a bump.
3. As it says in the title, up for grabs is my SB310. It's a 1995 model and has a few scuffs and marks as you would expect to see on a 20 year old bass. Nothing too bad or through to the wood. It weights in at 7.5lb so it's nice and light. Edit. to add that the back plate has 2 screws missing but is still secure. Available for pick up from Warrington, can meet up within reason or I can post for 15 quid. Here's the pictures. I can take more on request. Thanks for looking. 4. Stunning. I love what Alpha are doing at the moment. I bet it sounds great too.
5.
There's an SB310 for sale on a Facebook Bass page for £150. Unfortunately I haven't a clue on how to post a link to the particular sale. Here's the Facebook Group. https://www.facebook...ups/UKBassgear/ It was last "bumped" about 17th Nov. It isn't far from me and I was going to buy it as it is a steal but a) I don't play 4 strings and I've got 3 x 5 Strings already. Looks quite tidy.
That's mine. Thanks for the advert. I'm going to put it up for sale here when I get round to taking some more pictures of it.
6.
Trigger pulled. 7lbs 7ozs of passive SAUCE. Come to Daddy, you strumpet!
I hope you're going to do a video of the tones this beauty can produce. It's the law you know.
7. Neal Young at the old Greens Playhouse in Glasgow around 1970-71. The Eagles were the support and were great. Mr Young was off his tits and complained all the time that he couldn't hear himself in the monitors. He was hopelessly out of tune and after about half an hour, was booed off by a rather hostile Glasgow audience.
8. Line 6 LD400 Pro 2x10 Combo. Excellent condition. I bought this on here earlier in the year and it has sat at work with little use. I have only used it for low volume practise and it has never been gigged. The previous owner only used it of home use. I'm not likely to be gigging again and my Phil Jones headphones and Zoom B3 are enough for me. It's in great condition, no marks on it what so ever. It has been really well looked after and is ready to gig. It's no lightweight at around 100 pounds but it's on casters which make moving it about easy. Here is a link to the manual which shows what it can do. http://uk.line6.com/...owdownld400pro/ Collection only from Warrington or Winsford or can meet up within reason.
9. In my last band, I did backing vocals on some numbers. At one particular gig, someone took a video and when I saw the playback, I was shocked at how bad I sounded. The guitarist then admitted that, for the past 20 gigs, he had my vocals in the fold back only. Nothing was going FOH. That gig, he forget to tell the sound guy to turn me down. I have never sung since.
10. I was on stage before a gig, taping down some cables with gaffa tape. I had left my penknife at the other side of the stage so I decided to bite the tape to get a tear started. The tape tore the skin off my bottom lip and it hurt like hell. It took ages for it to stop bleeding and I played the gig looking like I had a big sulky, scabby pout on.
11. I've got a weekend pass from my wife so I'm going. She's even booking me a hotel for the Saturday night. I'm looking forward to the show.
12. Welcome back Pete, glad to hear you're on the mend. Keep it up mate.
13. What a great job, it looks the business.
14. Two for me. A MIM pbass at home and a Bass Collection Nanyo SB310 at work. I've had many others over the years and sold the lot when I got RA and couldn't play for a few years. Still got GAS for more but I can't justify them, so my wife says.
