1. I had a really bad cold at a gig and noticed a large line of snot connecting my nose to the mike during the second number. I was spared any bad comments due to our drummer having a epileptic fit during the next song and falling backwards off the stage. The audience thought it was part of the show.
 2. Good luck, break a leg, not a string etc. Looks like a great set list and I played The Ship many moons ago, good gig. Oh, and enjoy yourself.
 3.
Thanks for posting this, I've seen many of Scott's video lessons but not this one. Very helpful. Scott Devine is a beacon of the bass conmunity, he truly is making bassists better.
+1. I use his free Tube videos and they help a lot, thinking of subscribing to he paid for lessons. I'm 60 but it's never too late to learn and the old dogs, new tricks is bollocks. I'm learning to speak Thai at the moment.
 4.
As an ex - Ricky addict, with a long list to my name, you have to please provide a sound a sample of your 4003 through the Rumble. GAS officially re-ignited.....
+1. Thunderbird sample too please. Bloody GAS.
 5.
They need to be stacked in the right order!
Which order produces the brown note best? My public liability insurance excess may be affected.
 6.
I can chip in here as well. I bought one back in February - read some good comments both on here and Talkbass (I'm now in the Rumble Club there! ).Actually, it's also well worth a read, as there's hundreds of posts and good info. It sounds glorious on it's own, and I have gigged it that way. I also bought a Rumble 115 (15" cab) a bit later to add more umph....not so much volume, but sonic depth. TBH, you can easily get away with the cab as is. Stick the 15 under it, and you have instantly more of the same in abundance. Tone heaven! I changed over from Markbass to these, and I for one far prefer them. They just sound so much more, well, bassy. I use the vintage setting all the time, it gives you a lovely valve-y growl, real old-skool. Just to help - here's a photo of mine I took with my USA P Bass - ...and here's a sound-sample, recorded a few weeks ago in the studio with same P-bass, and Rumble amp and cab mic'd up - https://www.youtube....h?v=mA-xHT-cUC4 Let us know what you decide!
SB, you're not helping me GAS for a Rumble. I'll looking at the 200 watt version as I only jam now and then. Do you know if there any difference apart from the number of watts? Nice playing and I love the track BTW, what strings are you using. Love that tone.
 7. The black one on the bottom doesn't match. I'll gladly take it off your hands.
 8. My MIM Standard P-Bass tuners do their job as required, I must have got a good one. I want to change the bridge to a Goto 201 though. I just like the look of them.
 9. I have a MIM Fender Precision with Seymour Duncan SP1 pick up upgrades. Fabulous bass and as good as my last USA P Bass. I can't fault it.
 10. I was roped into this thread but you're all poles apart. Edit before the grammar police attack.
 11.
Can you give me a lift , Ive only got a small rig, honest
I know, we've met.
 12. Thanks for the link. I'm going to give one of these a go on my p bass.
 13.
It's still here Bassman Sam
Sorry, my missus bought me a pbass. I still love this though. I thought it would have been sold by now.
 14.
No, I drank a lot of wine last night. Was one of those 'surprises' you set yourself up for if you were drunk online the previous night. I think we should though.
I know them well.
 15. I'm up for this. Central Manchester would be good for me but willing to travel further. Any dates in mind?
 16.
Now that this thread is towards the end of its shelf-life, I'll add... Manfred Mann's Earth Band (my band of 30 years) found itself on the Kanye West track "So Appalled". Manfred's response was to take KW's track, fiddle about with it a bit, and then put it back out on his album. Recycling's good, right(?)
I like his style.

 18.
Thank you, gentlemen. The G&L is not really my sound but I decided to keep it in case I could use a modern sounding bass. I just thought that it would be better that silky13 could have some fun with it than leave it to collect dust. Basses are meant to be played and I like to help people when I can.
What a dude. Respect Sir.
