MIM Standard Precision in CAR with upgraded SD1 and ashtrays. I had to take the pickup cover off as I like plucking above it.

Sorry to hear this, maybe this is why Thomann are selling them so cheap.
Tom seems to have the answer. To me, it would turn a beautiful bass into an outstanding one at around RRP.
I love the colour, if it had a maple neck, it would be perfect.
It is a great bass to play. I have only played US Fenders before and I can't see much difference myself. The replacement SD1 sounds immense and the neck is perfect for me.
The Zoom B3 is a great bit of kit as many here already know. I'm just scratching the surface at the moment but I'm liking what I hear.
All in all, I'm one happy bunny.
Just bought a MIM Fender Precision from Tom. What a gent. Bass was packaged to withstand a small nuclear bomb and it was an outstanding deal. Thanks again Tom. Sam.
Just bought a Zoom B3 from Graham. Fantastic communications throughout. I pm'd him late Sunday night and it was with me by Tuesday morning. Great guy. Thanks mate.
I 'very been asking on here what I should get as a 60th birthday present from my wife to be. I was looking at a Gibson Thunderbird but I thought it might set off my RA. I was browsing through the for sale section on here when I saw tom1946's ad for a MIM Fender Precision in CAR.
Well, it arrived today and it's lovely, made up with finish and the setup.
I also bought a Zoom B3 from grahamd and it arrived within a hour of the p bass. Going to have me some fun tonight.
Pictures to follow as per the law.

Are either of these guys related to John Coghlan?
I'm guessing that Status Que are a tribute band, right?
Phone auto correct. Doh.
I've gigged with John Colhan of Status Que fame. He goes out as Coglan's Quo for a minimum of a grand a night plus expenses. We got 250 a head on a normal gig and on occasions double that.
I want to hear this. I live in a small apartment and this could be a good solution to the lack of space I have. I wonder if I could connect it to my smart TV and use it as a sound bar as well?
But amatures and semi pros are more likely to be more willing to listen and even be told there wrong. At present im very willing to be told im wrong and learn.
Glad to hear this as it's " amateurs" and " their" and " I'm".
I've literally just bought this VM Precision for £120 off of eBay, it was only listed for a few minutes before I snapped it up. Well pleased! http://www.ebay.co.u...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Hey, thebrig. Slow down man, leave some basses for the rest of us.
