Sorry to hear this, maybe this is why Thomann are selling them so cheap. Tom seems to have the answer. To me, it would turn a beautiful bass into an outstanding one at around RRP. I love the colour, if it had a maple neck, it would be perfect.

It is a great bass to play. I have only played US Fenders before and I can't see much difference myself. The replacement SD1 sounds immense and the neck is perfect for me. The Zoom B3 is a great bit of kit as many here already know. I'm just scratching the surface at the moment but I'm liking what I hear. All in all, I'm one happy bunny.

I 'very been asking on here what I should get as a 60th birthday present from my wife to be. I was looking at a Gibson Thunderbird but I thought it might set off my RA. I was browsing through the for sale section on here when I saw tom1946's ad for a MIM Fender Precision in CAR. Well, it arrived today and it's lovely, made up with finish and the setup. I also bought a Zoom B3 from grahamd and it arrived within a hour of the p bass. Going to have me some fun tonight. Pictures to follow as per the law.
