I'm going to see them next Saturday, can't bloody wait.

Spectors have been pretty low on my radar but this looks pretty cool and the weight is right for me. That is a great colour, I like shiny fings. I like the growl that you have in the sound file. I'm on the lookout for a PJ type bass and will be getting something special for my 60th in February, this Euro 4 type will be on the short list.

I'm just wondering why TKS has it's own sub forum and everyone else is relegated to the affiliates. Barefaced never got that honour and bass builders that everyone rates on here don't get that privilege. Just asking.

I've just added a few under my meatspace name of Alan English. I know Money by the Floyd is already on there but I had to put up the live version with Guy Pratt's bass solo. I know he gets some stick on here but I like it. [size=4] [/size]

Signed. I lived in London for the best part of 30 years and was a regular round Denmark Street. I would be sorry to see this redeveloped. I have a lot of fond memories of the area.

I was playing a gig in a pub in Glasgow where we were the resident band. A squaddie had just got home on leave and was trying to drink the pub dry. During our second set, he went mental and started throwing tables and chairs around. Then he ran towards the stage and decked the singer. I was behind him as he made is way towards the guitarist and I twatted him around the head with my Rickenbacker. I think that annoyed him more that hurt him as he checked, turned and knocked me clean out. The bouncers managed to remove him while I was still out cold. Early end to that gig.

Fender have always had their ups and downs over the years. I would be surprised if they went under but they really have to get the quality together and stop the neverending signature models. Just get back to the original ethos of Leo and produce quality instruments and sack the accountants.
