1. Where are you based?
2. I'm going to see them next Saturday, can't bloody wait.
3. Spectors have been pretty low on my radar but this looks pretty cool and the weight is right for me. That is a great colour, I like shiny fings. I like the growl that you have in the sound file. I'm on the lookout for a PJ type bass and will be getting something special for my 60th in February, this Euro 4 type will be on the short list.
4.
Thank you mate! What I'm really after is something trad like an old-style tweed case but airline proof.
Try CP Cases in Isleworth, they can make any case bulletproof.
5. I'm looking forward to this.
6. I'm just wondering why TKS has it's own sub forum and everyone else is relegated to the affiliates. Barefaced never got that honour and bass builders that everyone rates on here don't get that privilege. Just asking.
7. If this had come up for sale in 3 months time, I would be getting on a train to London to take it off your hands. Unfortunately, my old employer's lump sum payoff does not happen until February. I wish you GLWTS but I hope it's still around when I get me dosh. I'm in love.
8. Thanks for that, not seen that before. Amazing that anyone present could hear anything but the lyrics.
9.
indeed... I had a similar one and this happened.
Outstanding.
10.
She's on BBC Four right now. Babe Ruth!
I loved that, I remember seeing that on the OGWT when it was first shown and went out and bought the album.
11.
I'm a massive L42/MK fan and not ashamed to admit it. . When I saw him on the JB documentary I immediately thought. .. Here we go. . Let's see how long it takes for a mention on basschat... Not long
+1. I was interested to see how many top players were influenced by JB and not just us mere mortals. MK's take on such a famous riff was just paying homage to it. I thought the whole programme was great, even misery guts Ginger Baker's take on things was interesting.
12. Great basses these and so light. I have a SB310 and love it. This is a real beauty and in great condition. GLWTS.
13.

Now that has just giving me a semi and it's years since that happened. That is beautiful, I would love to hear it used in anger.
14. I've just added a few under my meatspace name of Alan English. I know Money by the Floyd is already on there but I had to put up the live version with Guy Pratt's bass solo. I know he gets some stick on here but I like it.
15. This is an example of Dave Wilson's work. I know it's not sunburst but the result is outstanding. I still miss this bass.
16. A work of art. GLWTS.
17. Signed. I lived in London for the best part of 30 years and was a regular round Denmark Street. I would be sorry to see this redeveloped. I have a lot of fond memories of the area.
18.
It's Skol or Leonards Smalls contributions for me. Both excellent.
This. I love the way Skol mixed his track, sounds coming at me from all directions. Good stuff. Mr Smalls gets my vote though, well done.
19. Another love/hate Bareface thread, shame to let it die. Carry on guys, I love a good read.
20. Gutted to hear this, the man was a true legend.
21. Rig of doom. I love your P/J too. What a cracking set up.
22. I was playing a gig in a pub in Glasgow where we were the resident band. A squaddie had just got home on leave and was trying to drink the pub dry. During our second set, he went mental and started throwing tables and chairs around. Then he ran towards the stage and decked the singer. I was behind him as he made is way towards the guitarist and I twatted him around the head with my Rickenbacker. I think that annoyed him more that hurt him as he checked, turned and knocked me clean out. The bouncers managed to remove him while I was still out cold. Early end to that gig.
23. www.fretlight.com. These guys do something like your idea.
24. Fantastic news, I can't wait for the next tour.
25. Fender have always had their ups and downs over the years. I would be surprised if they went under but they really have to get the quality together and stop the neverending signature models. Just get back to the original ethos of Leo and produce quality instruments and sack the accountants.
