1. Love it. Want to hear more. Can I have my house back now? Good luck with the tour.
 2. Nice one Clarky, I listened to this at work on my laptop and can't stop humming it. Sounds even better on the headphones at home. Good singers and a quality track. Good luck with Album, I want to hear more.
 3. That's bloody lovely. Go on Fran, get one. You have to spend all that money you've saved on fags on something. You know it make sense.
 4.
They look fantastic, but I imagine neck dive will be an issue with the basses.
They have a wooden core, I imagine this would help to offset any neck dive.
 5. A company is starting to use 3D printing to make guitars and basses. The designs are a bit meh to me, rehashing Gibson Les Paul's but they can be made to your own spec as to hardware etc. It's an interesting concept and I'm sure we will see more of this in the future. The prices are in line with other top end builders, 3500 NZ dollars or around £1925. There's the link. 6. I really enjoyed The Settle, great arrangement. Private Universe is an outstanding cover. In fact, I love them all. I wish you would get t'up north with some gigs, I'd love to see you live.
 7.
SAM!! You can't do sh*t like that! But seriously, I can't believe how kind that is of you!! Thanks so much, I hope the music resonates with you. Thank you x
No worries Nigel, just home from work. Glass of red and headphone time now. BTW, Kit's spelt your name wrong on the bandcamp page.
 8. Just bought the CD, bunged a tenner in to help with expenses. Looking forward to hearing the download when I get home from work.
 9.
Was just wondering if anyone else here has ever bought a bass that looked a lot better than it was easy to play. Of course, this is all down to personal opinion, but I've always thought Thunderbirds looked cool as f***. I had one for about a year or so, and did not really enjoy playing on it at all. Found it quite neck-heavy, with a slightly wider neck than was comfortable. Been a Fender man for a good few years now, but will always have a soft spot for the T-Bird shape. I can mind seeing a Supersuckers video where the singer/bassist had a Les Paul-style bass, wonder what that was like to riff on...
I feel your pain re: Thunderbirds. 10. Funny that their web site don't give this information. A bit lazy of them. http://www.espguitars.co.uk/bass-ltd-b155dx.html
 11.
some company for your bass My red XM2
That is lovely. I missed out a chance of 1 of these a few years back. Still regret it.
 12.
That's a very naughty thought, Terry. You up for building two more?? That would be some rig, wouldn't it??
You might find the Brown Note with that. Who's going to clean up after tho'?
 13. Great blog Bluejay, l want a Dolphin. Not to play, just hang it on the wall and stare at it.
 14.
Sometime World passed me by again...
You git, that's now my ear worm for the next 10 days. Lovely Bass tho',
 15. I used to have a Vauxhall Cavalier and got 2 Marshall cabs, 1 4x10 and 1 2x15, a Super Bass head, A Hiscock bass case, gig bag, mike stands, 2 telecasters when the back seats were folded down. Like the bloody Tardis it was. Still room for lazy 'kin' band "mate's" to bag a front seat too.
 16.
My Fender CIJ Precision is a 2005 '57 RI and is fitted with a Kent Armstrong pup. It has a fantastic tonal response from muddy lows, great for that motown or dub feel through to bright and sparkling highs for slap or an attacking plectrum approach.
+1 for Kent Armstrong, his Vintage P pups are the DB's. My last P had one fitted and it sounded like a pre CBS Fender should.
 17. The nicest P I had was a bitsa '70's built by our own CD_David for a Pink Floyd tribute band and I've had a few Fenders. Have you thought about building your own from Fender approved parts, you get what you want and can save a few bob.
 18.
1) Talking Heads 2) Double Trouble (With Steve Ray Vaughan) 3) The Blues Brothers 4) Queen 5) Aerosmith
Me too, plus Wishbone Ash and King Crimson.
