I have used Interparcel in the past but didn't know you could choose the courier company. I have had TNT and UPS collect and deliver without any problems. I have also use City Link directly. I'm a depot supervisor for TNT so could be biased but have never had a problem with any of them. Just make sure is the seller packs it well. Good Luck.

Thanks for posting that. I enjoyed it. I have been in the situation in an originals band that I left over royalty percentages I walked after recording the 1st album. My bass parts were re recorded by someone else and I didn't get a penny. Unfortunately, we did not sign up to a legal split so the singer, who wrote the lyrics and did sort things out in his favour, had the upper hand. Then again, they made nowt but that's not the point. I think I would have made about 45p if I got paid for my contribution.

I played in a Quo tribute band for 6 years and have gigged with John Coghlan, the orignial drummer. He goes out under the name Coghlan's Quo, using guys from tributes in the line up. Check his website. http://www.johncoghlan.com/main/ Loved playing the early Quo stuff, happy days.

I prefer the old market place and fee per ad seems fair. I don't buy or sell anything any more but I am happy to chuck a few bob into the pot now and again just to keep the site afloat. A yearly subscription would be the fairest way to go. £20 per annum is about right IMO.

I'm a bit late to the party but for what it's worth, I played a Ricky 4001 fretless in a rock band in the early '70's for a few years without any problems. I think it depends on how your play it as to whether it fits or not. You play what fits the song. I used to get comments. Some punters didn't know it was a fretless I was playing and most didn't know I was in the band.
