    A white one may be on the cards after my wrist op. I can't put this down, It sounds and plays so well. This was the best 300 quid I've spent on a bass.

    Just bought this from our very own @JPJ. Was delivered to the hotel I'm staying at in Geordie Land. Playing it through my Vox headphone amp and Phil Jones cans, it sounds thunderous. Can't wait to get home tomorrow and fire up my Ashdown ABM 500 and scare the crap out of the neighbours.

    I saw my surgeon this morning and I'm having another metal bar inserted in my right wrist. I'll have to wait for around 5 months for the op and then 6 weeks recovery time. If it works as well as the last one, I should be back playing by the summer. Heres hoping.

    True Beedster. Only took 2 years of rounds to cause serious string marks on the board. Sold it for a 75 P bass.

    I had a 1969 4001 FL in the '70's. Sounded great with Round wounds but they buggered the fretboard. A Rick sound with added Maaaw.

    I played in a WA tribute band back in the '70's before tribute bands became fashionable. I loved playing MT's basslines and still play Handy and Phoenix when jamming with my old bandmates.

    I'm having to put back my CT scan until January as my work won't let me have the time off. That there are too many people off on these dates and knocked back my leave request. Richard heads. Looks like I'll be pulling a few sick days in revenge.

    Hi Teebs, got my CT scan on 19th of this month and the follow up with the surgeon on 20th December. I'll keep everyone posted. Oh, and thanks for asking mate.

    I sure am Kev. Lost a bomb when I sold my gear and cost me a fortune to replace it. Ended up with too many basses though, the Basschat curse.
