I'm just a bit young to have really caught him, but a (blinding!!) guitarist I was in a band with years back (who was 10 years my senior) openly admitted to nicking EVERYTHING he played from Rory.. thus making me check him out. Years later I shared a house with (amongst other people) a lad (10 years my junior) from (what he referred to as) The Peoples Republic of Cork. When he found out I was a Rory fan he hugged me like a long lost brother and said ; "You know he's from Cork??" hahahahahahahha

Brought a Peavey Pro410 from Chris. Geezer delivered it and even helped me carry it up the stairs!! I have a rehearsal tomorrow chris at 3pm ; can you give me a hand to carry it back down the stairs and into my car??

I've never owned any other bass amplification (apart from a Crate(!!!) combo when I first started playing) other than TE I had a 1215 smx combo I brought new in 93 I think it was. I loved that thing! Had some really cool features on it. I later added a 2x10" cab (2103h I think) and used that set up for years. Always had enough power for any of the places we used to play and was often complimented on my sound (rarely on my playing tho!! ) I reluctantly had to sell it though and didnt play for a few years. When I got back in the saddle again I sought out s/h TE gear and got an AH250 head with 1153 and 1048h cabs, THAT was the setup I REALLY dug but alas, I had to sell that around 3 years ago... Now I'm back to square one; EXACTLY where I started all those years ago. I have a bass, a (borrowed) combo, upcoming gigs in the not so distant future and a burning desire to get a half decent rig together. One that glows green

Hiya chatters Is there ANYBODY in the Northants area that will swap a couple of magnets for me in some Seymour humbuckers?? All the advertised techs in my area dont have a clue when it comes to magnet swapping!!! I have the magnets, I just need someone to swap them for me.. Anyone??? Anyone????
