    No they only make the specials now. I bet in a few years the SR4 will be the Classic range.

    Does anyone know why Ernie Ball aren’t offering a fretless neck option anymore? I know you could always get a Status neck but now that’s not possible. Status have said they aren’t making anymore for a while at least. I think it would be nice for them to offer fretted or fretless necks on the new Special’s.

    It will be on my board but I certainly won’t be using it not with this bass anyway.

    Yes it has a great clean tone as well I’m not really into the heavily distorted sound. But with the blend knob you can blend the clean and the dirty signal to what suits your taste.
