  1. Is it correct that the stingray special’s pickup covers are glued down?
  2. Definitely next time if you’re up this way.
  3. I was lucky enough to see and have a little play of it on Friday. It is indeed a fantastic bass and Warren isn’t exaggerating the neck feels absolutely fantastic.
  4. Andy where did you get the cream pickup cover? I’m after one to replace the black one on my stingray. I’ve done a search but I can only find white ones.
  5. I think it would look great with an aged Pearl white guard on it.
  6. Very nice indeed what colour is that?
  7. The Burnt Apple is a great colour but the Charcoal Sparkle was the one I was really looking for.
  8. I’ve just sold my Burnt Apple HH and bought this beauty.
  9. Definitely a nice looking bass and a great price for a 74.
  10. Easter week price drop £1600 but if the bass I’m after sells my bass will be withdrawn.
  11. Just changed the guard from white to Ivory white and a matte B/W/B
  12. Immaculate Burnt Apple HH stingray special. A bass has come up for sale that I fancy going for but if the other bass sells and mine hasn’t I will be removing mine. The colour is called Burnt Apple no longer available it has a five position pickup selector ash body and a roasted maple neck. Weight is 9.5lbs and it comes with the original hard case. Sorry not interested in trades for sale only.
  13. My old jazz bass smelled of a thousand clubs and pubs when I first opened it’s case.
  14. I prefer it with the black but they both look great.
  15. My new stingray special
  16. I’m hoping they still carry on it would be a shame because they’re such a great band live. Taylor Hawkins boots will certainly be hard to fill. But I’m sure there’s someone out there capable of doing the job. The who replaced Keith moon I know that it’s never the same when you loose an original band member like that.
  17. Tragic waste the ultimate rock drummer.
  18. 50s Fender P bass 60s Fender Jazz 70s MM Stingray 80s Status S2 or Wal 90s Warwick 00s Modulus flea 10s 20s
  19. I’m not 100% sure I want to move this on just yet. So I’m going to take it off while I think about it.
  20. Putting this beauty up for sale as I have the Stingray bug at the moment. For anyone who hasn’t heard of Bravewood basses the body’s and necks are totally hand made by John himself. It has a 42mm nut and it has a custom set of Radioshop pickups. Slab rosewood board the weight of the bass is a shoulder friendly 8.6LBS comes with Hiscox case. Trade wise I’m only really looking for 4 string Music Man Stingray basses . Any questions PM me.
