Tried for a couple of days now to get on the Bravewood site with no Luck.

I have just bought a secondhand Bravewood jazz for £1200 the guy I got it off put has put a fender decal on it. It plays and sounds better than most of the CS fenders I have played in the past. If I get the chance to by another Bravewood I would in a hart beat. I can't understand why the man who builds handmade basses doesn't put his name on it personally I would of preferred that.

One of the best rock singers of all time a massive loss to the music world. RIP

Oh yes it counts alright it's got jazz pickups and I bet it plays as good as it looks. Just like most modulus basses do.

Jan 5th 1962 so if anyone has got a sunburst p bass with Jan 5th stamped on the neck get in touch.

Just had my jazz bass done by Nigel Stockbridge £40 now plays fantastic.

This is my new jazz bass it's a bravewood 66 it plays and sounds fantastic.

Check out the bravewood website he has got a p bass for sale at £1500. I would buy it myself but I want one with a rosewood board.

That's good news I think I'll do the same and hopefully get a bass built of him.

Thanks for the help I already have a bravewood 66 jazz the one on his website. But I was after him to build me a sunburst p bass I will give it a few months and try him again.

Totally agree my jazz is fantastic better than any Fender custom shop I've played so far.

I contacted John about getting a bass built he said he was clearing the decks of work. He said he was not taking anymore work on at the moment. Someone mentioned to me that he didn't think he was going to build again.

Is John Elliott still building basses?

JJ burnel in 1977 can't remember how many times I have seen the stranglers. Seen them twice this year once in Camden and again in newcastle. JJ was as good as ever and his new shuker bass sounded fantastic.
