    I like pristine basses as well but I think John is one of the best at what he does.I have a 66 jazz of his the one on his site it's one of the best jazz basses I've played IMO.But life would be boring if we were all the same don't you think.

    I have just bought a secondhand Bravewood jazz for £1200 the guy I got it off put has put a fender decal on it. It plays and sounds better than most of the CS fenders I have played in the past. If I get the chance to by another Bravewood I would in a hart beat. I can't understand why the man who builds handmade basses doesn't put his name on it personally I would of preferred that.
