I had this bass for a while too, hope it finds a good home. It was a lovely instrument but a little too heavy for me. Whenever it crops up I’m tempted! GLWTS

Musicman Sterling USA This is a lovely MusicMan Sterling bass from 2004 it’s in excellent condition and comes with a basic gig bag. It’s not to be confused with the cheaper models with the confusingly similar name - this is a US made bass of a very high quality. The person I bought it from had it refinished in black as the original gold finish had some damage. The finish is fine but has some scuffs and blemishes. The bass has an incredible neck with a very narrow nut width like a Jazz bass, action is low with lots of life in the frets and a fully working trussrod. The bass weighs under 3.9kgs and is very comfortable for long gigs. All hardware and electrics are original (the eagle eyed will spot it’s wearing a Hipshot D tuner but I will remove that if it sells) and the preamp is very flexible and sounds fantastic. The reason I’m selling is because I’m moving house and need to release some funds, I’m temporarily unable to play bass so I’m selling the basses I’m not sentimentality attached to. At some point I will buy another Sterling but with a maple board. These are fabulous instruments. No trades. UK only. Pickup preferred but I would consider posting at buyer’s expense. This is the first 50 watt version of the Micromark and it comes complete with the satellite tweeter. It’s an Italian made combo very sturdily built and in very good condition. You can use it stand alone or with a bigger cab and it is a one hand lift. I’ve used it at small gigs with two guitarists and it worked really well but I doubt it would be much use without PA support with a loud rock drummer. It’s a great little amp for rehearsals, small room gigs and home use. It also has an auxiliary in. Happy to post free mainland UK no trades sorry. Mains lead and tweeter lead included. Nord Electro 3 V4.1 Organ Piano Keyboard 73 Key Version Excellent piano and organ sounds for live and studio work. There is full midi plus USB to load sample based sounds such as choirs, Mellotron, synths and brass. The keyboard is the ‘waterfall’ version with weighted keys and a lovely action. It comes with a generic gig bag and power lead. The keyboard has been gigged quite regularly and the wooden end cheeks have dings and scuffs to them. The metal case has some scrapes and minor paint wear but nothing nasty. Keyboard and all knobs and switches work perfectly. It’s a lovely unit but I want to downsize to the smaller keyboard version. Pickup preferred as it is heavy but I can post at buyer’s expense in the UK only.

A beautiful 1983 MIJ Squier JV Precision ‘57 style in excellent condition with all original parts. When I bought it it was wearing a black scratchplate but I’ve returned the original white single ply plate to the bass. It has a wonderful neck with a shallow profile and under 42mm nut width. The original pickup has the raised pole pieces under the A string and as a result has a lovely balanced sound. Neck is lovely, no dings other than the usual headstock knocks at the top edge. Frets are excellent and truss rod turns and works. There are a few minor dings and touch ups to the body finish. Nothing nasty or structural, evidence of a bass that has earned its keep over 40 years. It’s light at 3.8kgs and balances perfectly. It has the threaded bridge and reverse Kluson style tuners. These basses are very highly regarded and very collectible. I’m asking what it owes me and yes I will post in the UK at buyers cost and I have a basic case for it now. I’ve reduced the price for a quick sale as I’m moving soon. You won’t find a nicer JV at this price. I’d consider a trade for a short scale Sterling Stingray plus cash my way or a Sterling SB14 plus cash my way. No other trades wanted thanks.

This is a 2015 Rickenbacker Laredo Bass 4004 model in jetglo. It’s in amazing condition and virtually mint. The bass weighs around 4.1kgs and has absolutely no issues, it comes with original Ric case and includes all certificates and manuals. The bass has had the pots upgraded to two volumes and tone rather than the usual volume, tone and pickup selector switch. The volume controls also feature a coil tap push pull switch making it a very flexible bass. Should you wish to change it back to the original configuration the original wiring loom is included. I’d definitely prefer pickup I’m afraid. The bass has the signature Ric sound but is far more comfortable to play thanks to the contoured body. The Schaller bridge makes it very easy to intonate too. I was told Rickenbacker have stopped production of this model. UK only. Price reduced for a quick sale. Postage £30 UK only I’d consider part trades - plus cash. I need to release at least £950 funds on this so I’d consider US Fenders or Musicman basses. Thanks

Seymour Duncan SPJ -3 Quarter Pound pickup set and wiring loom. This set is in excellent functional condition the covers are marked and chewed up a little where they were taken from the bass that they were mounted too. Unfortunately the screws for the Jazz pickup had been badly stripped. I can provide a new generic Jazz cover if required but the holes are smaller for the pole pieces. The loom is included so it’s easy to fit them to a bass with minimum amount of soldering. UK only. Squier SQ Precision Bass 1983/4 The SQ series were built alongside the JV models and were the MIJ equivalent of US basses of that era rather than vintage reissues. Japanese build quality, nice and light with excellent necks. This one is all original apart from the, strap buttons, controls and pickup - this has a Thumper pickup that sounds great and CTS pots. Original electrics are long gone. The neck has been gently sanded by a previous owner to create a less glossy finish - plays like a dream. The neck blemishes have been drop filled and can barely be felt under the hand. It’s a lovely instrument and weighs 4.2kgs. There are some minor cosmetic dings and marks but nothing structural. It’s a gigging workhorse and great as a main bass or backup. I bought this from a fellow Basschatter and was going to use the body for another project and part it out. It’s too nice an instrument in its own right so I bought another donor body and am selling this as I already have a similar MIJ model. No case or bag however it will be strung with D’addario flats. I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost as I have a decent box. No trades sorry.
