Markbass CMD 121H Bass Combo Made in Italy I recently purchased this from Lloyd on this forum, it was intended to replace my old CMD 121P that had developed some issues however my local tech has managed to repair my amp and so this is now up for sale. The reason I’m selling is because this model is slightly bigger and heavier and mine is easier to store. I’m selling it for what it owes me including the new MB handle I purchased and fitted and the delivery costs. Pickup only please. It’s an absolute bargain for a superb Italian made Markbass combo. Very good condition, some scuffing to the carpet covering, it hadn’t been used for some time prior to my purchase of it so the controls are a little scratchy. No trades UK only. G&L Fullerton Deluxe Limited Edition Fallout Bass USA 2019 First edition version of the G&L Fallout bass. This one in a fetching Miami Blue with racing stripes. It comes with original G&L gigbag, build certificate and Allen keys. It’s a lovely bass and weighs around 3.8kgs, nicely balanced and easy on the shoulder. The bass has been recently set up by my local luthier and the frets levelled - it plays really well and is sporting D’Addario nickel round wounds 45-100 gauge. The Fallout is a shortscale bass but retains the proportions of a long scale instrument. So if you are tall or a larger person it doesn’t look like you are playing a toy! I am playing so rarely now I don’t need such an expensive back up bass. Condition is excellent. The only blemish being a tiny chip (chip in finish now touched up see last pic) at the underside of the neck pocket done when the neck was removed. The neck pocket is super tight - probably why it got chipped. Usual superb G&L construction. The fretboard and neck are lovely. Electrics are passive with the classic MFD pickup. There are some great demo videos online with The Bass Whisperer. Don’t mistake this for the Tribute model this is the full fat Fullerton version. No trades. I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost. I’ve dropped the price. I’m taking a hit on it so no further reductions and it will be fleabay bound. I need some work doing on my house so it has to go and I seem to be playing my old Fender Musicmaster now.

SWR Bass Monitor 12. An 8 ohm 250 watt cab with tweeter and level control. You can use it as a main cab, extension or wedge monitor. It’s a bit scuffed but works perfectly well and has the original speaker. It’s a bit awkward to box up owing to the shape for a courier and it weighs around 17kgs so pickup may be best unless you want to send a courier. UK only. The cab is one of the original SWR units before Fender and things started going wrong for the company. A decent cab at a cheap price. £80 PS can post but it will be around £25 Parcelforce.

Since I bought my US G&L Fallout this Mexican made Mustang PJ has been unplayed. It’s a lovely bass in near new condition. As you can see it has been upgraded with a Hi-Mass brass saddle bridge and tort guard. The heavier bridge helps the bass balance when on a strap as it is very light. It’s a special edition in canary yellow and yes I also have the original white scratchplate that I will include. I bought it a few months ago from my local music shop and it plays and sounds great. It’s around 3.7kgs in weight. There is no case or bag so pickup preferred. Postage in UK at buyer’s cost.

1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass in black original finish. Made in USA. This is a lovely shortscale bass and is in great playing condition with plenty of dings and wear to the body. It’s light and easy to play and has plenty of mojo. The pickup is original however the pots and jack socket have been changed. The scratch plate is also a modern replacement as the original is badly damaged. I can include this in the sale. Other modifications are a couple of replaced screws on the back of the tuning gears and a brass nut - fitted before I bought it. A nice old Fender bass that is becoming more sought after. This one is light weight at around 3.8kgs and sounds nice and punchy. No case included. Pickup preferred but I can post in the UK only at buyer’s cost. No trades. Selling as I’ve just bought another G&L Fallout.

Another of my long scale basses for sale - this time a Samick era Korean Squier Jazz from around 1989/90. The neck is very nice on this one with no dings other than a couple of chips at the headstock. Neck pocket is super snug. The trussrod works both ways. Hardware is original. The body of these instruments were ply I believe and some were very heavy. This is fine at 4.3kgs. Same as my JV Jazz from the early 80’s. Some cosmetic dings and scuffs to the finish. The bass has the Schaller licensed tuners and the bell shaped control panel that was an odd feature of these Samick made basses. It’s a great solid workhorse of a bass and perfect for modding. This one is all original except for the added thumbrest which I left it on because there is a permanent marker outline underneath it. Pickup preferred as it doesn’t have a case. This is a Sterling SB14 body with a maple USA EBMM Sterling neck. I bought the neck from eBay and the SB14 from this site. I was looking for a candy apple red bass with a maple board neck but couldn’t find one so I built my own! This has been my main gigging bass for a few years but owing to fretting hand issues I’m now selling my long scale basses. I’ll regret this as I’ve invested quite a bit of gigging life into this one but it’s now gathering dust. The bass has Hipshot tuners and a drop D tuner fitted. The active electronics sound as good to me as my full fat US Sterling bass. It’s light at 3.9kgs and plays really well. There is a scratch at the top edge of the neck near the fretboard - I thought it was a hairline crack but my luthier said it was nothing to worry about. See fifth picture. It comes with the installed Armstrong black scratchplate and the original white one. There is a Sterling gigbag included. No trades sorry. I’d prefer pickup but can post at buyer’s cost UK only.

A modded 40 year old JV Precision hence the lower price. It has been routed for EMG PJ active pickups with a Jazz pickup at the bridge - a classic mod! The bass also has a countersunk Hi-Mass bridge. The bass weighs 4.3kgs and sounds and plays as a good PJ ought to. Classic JV quality in a lovely original fiesta Red finish. All hardware is original other than the mods. There are areas where the paint has been touched up near the neck pocket and bridge and the Jazz rout but nothing drastic. The mods are from the mid 80s when the bass was toured. At one point there was a switch that has since been removed and the hole on the original white scratchplate has a plastic cap over it. I’m selling my long scale basses that have no sentimental attachment owing to issues with my fretting hand. I’m not interested in trades other than shortscale Fender Mustangs or Stingrays. It has a gigbag and I would prefer pickup. Postage not impossible but at buyers cost and UK only. Thanks!

I have this lovely black and maple US made Precision Bass from 2002 for sale. It’s in excellent condition with only two small dings on the back of the neck and a few minor scuffs to the body. The scratchplate is a replacement as originally it would have had a white plate. I bought it like this so do not have the original. It comes with original Fender case. Sounds and plays as you would expect from a US bass from this era. I’m no longer playing long scale instruments owing to a fretting hand issue that limits my span so all my basses without sentimental attachment are being sold. No trades unless you have a JMJ Mustang in black or perhaps a partial trade with cash on an MIM Mustang black with maple neck. Bass weighs around 4.2kgs so easy on the shoulder. SWR Workingman’s 10 Combo These little SWR combos have gained a very high reputation over the years for their sound quality and portability, when they first came onto the market they were a revelation in terms of their performance to size ratio. This is one of the later models and is in excellent condition. Stand alone it produces 80 watts through its internal speaker and horn. You can add a second cab to get it to push its full power of 100. This is not a digital amp and it’s built like a tank. I’d say the wattage is underrated as I’ve used it in gigs with a four piece band and it’s kept up. With PA support tilt it back on its internal stand and it’s a monitor. There have been no modifications and the speaker is original. One or two pots are scratchy and may benefit from some switch cleaner (which I have recently run out of!), some cosmetic wear and bobbling from normal use. Sound quality is excellent and it has the SWR Aural Enhancer feature. It’s quite heavy compared to more recent mini combos but it’s a one hand lift and very portable. It comes with a Roqsolid cover too and mains lead. I’ve not used it much recently and was planning to use it with keyboards but I need a multichannel amp for that now so have decided to sell it. I would prefer pickup but could post if necessary in the UK only however postage will be quite expensive. I’ll put some pictures up with the cover later today. No trades sorry.

I bought this from here last week however I also managed to pick up a smaller MB amp locally which is more suitable for my current rarely gigging needs so I’m selling this on. It’s quite heavy compared to their digital amps so pickup preferred. Here is the original sales thread from Geoff who I bought it from. It’s a really fantastic sounding amp with a lot of punch. One thing I’d add is that the gain knob is slightly stiffer to turn than the others. Comes with the MB gigbag too. I can post at buyer’s cost in the UK if necessary. No trades.

Nord Electro 3 61 Waterfall Keyboard This is an excellent keyboard for producing traditional mechanical keyboard sounds such as pianos and organs. You can get superb Hammonds, Vox and Farfisa organ sounds plus acoustic and electric pianos - the electric pianos are superb. There is also a sampler so you can download various sounds from the Nord website such as Mellotrons, orchestral strings, synth and brass. Build quality is second to none and the keyboard feels fantastic to play. As well as the various user variable programmes you can use the keyboard live using the button operated ‘drawbars’ and live effects on all sounds. This keyboard is in superb condition with only a few dings to the end cheeks. It functions perfectly and comes with a tatty but functional keyboard gig bag.
