Mine was a short scale Hohner with a P pickup:
into a Marshall practice amp; neither of which were great.
Fortunately we did a lot of gigs with PA support, so the paltry output of the Marshall wasn't an issue.
Downloaded it and ‘gave it a spin’ on my way to work yesterday.
My first impression is that it’s a very, very good album. I’m looking forward to getting more acquainted with it on subsequent listenings.
Seventh triads (minor, major, dominant) up and down the neck (2octaves) , then pick four chords and play a couple of bars of each as a slow progression, then speed up.
Up for grabs is my blackface Ampeg SVP PRO preamp.
All tube preamp with transformer isolated XLR out, 2 preamp outs on 1/4” jacks, effects loops and tuner out.
Manual is online here:
https://ampeg.com/pdf/SVP-PRO.pdf
Comes with full set of Harma tubes (Watford Tubes’ own brand) and isolating transformer for the preamp outputs - these units can be quite noisy due to the design of the power supply; a £15 passive Behringer box between the SVP and the power amp solves the problem.
SOLD
will trade for Ampeg SCR-DI pedal as I’m moving to ‘in-ears’ now.
Back up for sale now.
I’m going to buck the trend her and say that I prefer their later output; ‘New Adventures In Hifi’ being A particular favourite. I’m not saying their early stuff is schit, far from it. Just my personal opinion.
Not really using this as much as I thought I would, so it’s up for grabs due to limited pedalboard space.
Very good condition with box and instructions.
with velcro on the underside:
£45 includes P&P to a mainland UK front door fo your choosing.
