  1. SOLD Just sorted out a Zoom b1-four, so am clearing out some of my individual pedals. World’s smallest (and best) OC-2 clone. In excellent condition, boxed, and with Velcro on the underside.
  2. Nope, not at all, the pots are grounded to the output jack via the metal jack plate, so they are all a common ground. Personally I’d wire to the output jack - reason being, if the jack works loose during a gig then it’s still connected and you’ll be able to get through it!
  3. Pickup hot (signal) usually goes to the middle lug, output (and signal from other pickup)!goes to the one on the left of that (assuming the 3 lugs are at the bottom of the pot), ground(s) goes to the other one.
  4. No. Maybe we should keep it that way...
  5. Yup. Waves GTR3 is how to do it properly, as is the BX Mega Single. the SVX is definitely worth looking at though, and it this price it’s a no-brainer!
  6. Agree completely. 🤮 My own pet hates are ‘Buzzard’ basses - and basses with more knobs than strings; if you exceed this number then you’re an audio engineer first and bass player second. seriously, get stacked knobs and do it tastefully!
  7. Bought Andy’s B1-Four. Arrived very quickly and packaged to survive the Post-apocalyptic UK postal service. Deal with confidence BCers. Two thumbs good.

    NPD - Zoom B3n

So what you’re saying is, you could buy a second unit and do everything....
  9. Superb chorus pedal that will go from smooth and light to heavy and wobbly with a switchable crossover and 2 band eq in excellent condition with original box and instructions. price includes p&p to Mainland UK addresses. velcro on the underside too!!
  10. Burn the heretic!!!! 😄
  11. I think there’s a free version of Sibelius on the Avid website - it’s limited to 4 voices, but that should be fine for scoring out specific basslines.
  12. Great Scott!!!
  13. Generally they’ll prime any guests / sycophants for the next part of the show. And knock one out.
  14. The 160 is a great compressor, not used a software version yet though.
  15. It is - they are my ‘go to’ plugins for eq and buss compression.
  16. Yes, that’s the one
  17. RBass from Wavea is essential for me - adds ‘heft’ to a DIed bass track. I really rate their SSL buss compressor, and use it on my master outputs pretty much all of the time just to help glue everything together.
  18. Not sure that the video is entirely responsible; certainly looks like it helped though.
  19. Ah, I had one of these as my first bass head. Lovely piece of kit.
  20. Oof, that’s a stinker! Great bassline though.
  21. I Want You Back and ABC by the Jackson 5. Ab is such a lovely key.
  22. I’d be more worried about his soldering skills than damned filthy apes - check out picture no.5. I doubt I’d have him upholstering my soft furnishings either.

I agree fully. The best thing about Ampegs for me is the flexibility in the midrange. I don’t like the original Sansamp BDDI for the same reason, but they do seem to be reasonably popular... 😉
