  1. Wah? Trem /modulation speed?
  2. One word of caution, always make sure that you’re supplying MORE current than you need to a pedal/board; if you try to draw more current than a psu can deliver then the psu will go pop. Never give a pedal more voltage than it’s rated for, as this will cause the pedal to go pop.
  3. I bought a Hohner Baron bass (short scale thing) for £70 at a local music shop (I think it was Reidy's in Blackburn) and picked up a Marshall combo from somewhere else (don't remember where) at roughly the same time. They sounded crap. I saved up for a Trace Elliot AH 130 as soon as I could!
  4. Vintage Caline Orange Burst overdrive pedal. BNIB. Really clean example of this sought after effect. £350 plus p&p
  5. These things are brilliant; I dropped one I each of my Jazz bitsas and they sound amazing! Great price too - I paid £50 each for mine!
  6. Screenshot from my Ampeg AVP manual: -12db is a fairly significant amount of cut!!
  7. Jesus! I managed less than a minute of him shouting about inconsequential things before I turned it off. Also ‘rhythmatic’?? What a twät.
  8. Vocals: Björk Goodmansdottir Guitars: Scott Ian & Ler Bass: Geddy Lee Drums: Vinnie Colaiuta Keys: Ray Manzareck Percussion: Ruth Underwood
  9. NOW SOLD Verion 1 of Sansamp's Paradriver - Sweepable Mids working conjunction with the Drive knob to give more toenail variation than the usual Bass Driver. I bought this from a BC'er recently in a damaged condition and have replaced 2 of the knobs. Velcro on the bottom from being on a pedalboard.
  10. This. Use the amp and cab simulator too and sound better than a practice amp!

Took deliver of one of these today and it’s awesome. I’ve always wanted to make JPJ’s ‘wobbly, dirty’ Heartbreaker sound come out of my amp; this gets really, really close! loads of features too - polyphonic octaves up and down make for a Hammond organ type effect, and the fast and slow rotary speeds can be set independently or controlled with an expression pedal.
  12. Freddie Mercury. Just didn’t see it coming, and was still enjoying the ‘Innuendo’ album immensely. looking back at the music videos that Queen were releasing in 1990/1991 it was obvious that Freddie was very, very ill, but back then I didn’t really bother with videos; I still don’t.
  13. This. Green tortex all the way. I only use a pick for a few ‘punkier’ numbers in one of my bands and have never dropped a tortex; other non-coated ones just fly out of my hands.
