Yes and no. They can be dismantled (pry open the tabs holding the back of the case on), wiped out and apply fresh silicone grease, but if the carbon tracks are worn or cracked then it’s not really worth it. Unfortunately it’s not something you can know until you’ve got the back off, good skill to have though.

Neither option is without risk, but even discarding the risk of theft, most instruments would prefer being left indoors without too many temperature fluctuations. I'd never leave an instrument in a car for any length of time for this reason, insurance companies get a bit shirty when you leave valuable stuff in an unattended vehicle too, but a hotel room is looked upon more favourably.

KZ ZS10 Pro are incredible for the money - they're also great IEMs if you ever need them to be.
