  8. In my 'ROCK' day sI used to swear by Ampeg cabs - my trusty 410 always delivered a lovely peak around 200Hz which filled out the sound nicely. I've also used a Hartke Hydrive 410 which was good, but just a bit more polite.

Effective communication is key, as is an understanding of which ways people absorb and retain information. The ability to take a topic and present it in a way that is relevant and accessible to your students is essential
  21. I've just ordered the AliExpress amp, simply cos it's much smaller than my current IEM amplifier, and it's cheap as chips! Will let you all know how it performs if/when it arrives.
  22. Yes and no. They can be dismantled (pry open the tabs holding the back of the case on), wiped out and apply fresh silicone grease, but if the carbon tracks are worn or cracked then it’s not really worth it. Unfortunately it’s not something you can know until you’ve got the back off, good skill to have though.
