Best: Dave Hall VT2 Eq pedal. Had one before but sold it; I’d forgotten how good they are. Ernie Ball cobalt flats get an honourable mention too. Worst: nothing really, I’ve managed to resist impulse purchases this year.

I’ve used a modded crybaby (same model as yours) on bass before and it was pretty good. Make sure that you don’t just increase the input and output caps, but double the value of the capacitor that tunes the wah sweep to lower it by an octave as well. On the board it’s labelled as C2 and it’s a 0.01uf, change it to around 0.068uf and you’ll not go too far wrong.

Anyone got any experience of putting a MM style pup in the bridge position of a Jazz bass? I’m toying with fitting one to my fretless Jazz but still want the option of it sounding like a Jazz when I need it to. Tge only contender so far is the Wilkinson WJM, but am prepared to explore other units. Obviously there’ll be some routing required, as it’s a bigger pickup...

Mine’s done an install on my Mac, but it doesn’t appear as a stand-alone app or plugin. The SSD5 IM works, but not the drum app itself, is it a 64 bit app?
