  1. that was Flea and Chad.
  2. BloodSugarSexMagic is one of try all time favourite albums, and One Hot Minute is great too. I think they've passed their best, and haven't really been impressed by their last couple of albums, but they've had more great albums than bad ones. Sadly though there are two convicted sex offenders in that band - surprisingly neither of them is Keidis.
  3. Sergeant Baker - Primus
  4. Right Here, Right Now - Jesus Jones
  5. Too Late, Too Late - Motörhead
  6. Hardening of the Arteries - Slayer
  7. Oh my various gods, that’s a honker for sure!
  8. Goblin Girl - Zappa
  9. Beatles - Yellow Submarine Iron Maiden - Can I Play With Madness? The Clash - At least half of Sandinista! Dire Straits - Walk Of Life EXP - Jimi Hendrix Experience To be fair though, each of these have sold more units that I ever will, so I'm not really in a position to judge!
  10. Is it a Peanut Butter Kit Kat Crunchy?
  11. Eat the rich - Motörhead
  12. Made it to the end of July before buying a Spectracomp. Not a bad little compressor - not sure that it'll stay, but certainly fun to play around with.
  13. I had some bad toan once - Cobra bass amp. It was neither lightweight or hi-tech.
  14. Mississippi goddamn - Nina Simone
  15. Nice Guy Eddie from Sleeper's amazing It Girl album - how '90s is this?
  16. iReal Pro - great app that I use now that I struggle with remembering songs/setlists thanks to long covid. Takes a bit of time to set up, but pays dividends in the long run.
  17. Two - a medium sized 1x12" with a standard 19" rack head (300W), and a 1 x 10" 150W 'mini-rig'.
  18. Dancin’ Fool - Zappa
  19. ‘Arry only ‘tickles’ the strings though, a fairly unique approach that differs from the vast majority of us mere mortals.
  20. three fingers for me - ring, middle, index then rinse and repeat. I used to practice on the seams of my trousers on the bus!
  21. DC offset also reduces headroom, as the wave isn’t centralised at 0v, so instead of a +/- 10v (for example) each side, one would only have 8.5v of wiggle room with a 1.5v DC offset.
  22. Daddybrotherloverlittleboy- Mr Big

    Feedback for Mace

Bought Mace's Spectracomp in a really easy and fast deal, great communication from start to finish. Recommended BC'er.
  24. If you want a Fender tone stack that’s cut only then it’s a really easy thing to make - it could even be a passive pedal as the cutting is all being done with R/C networks- I’d recommend an active boost at the end as a recovery stage though.
