2. Not just a quality dirt box, but it'll also do clean boost and has a really musical 3 band eq too. God I miss mine. :'(
3. Dual-bassist Stoubridge crusties Ned's Atomic Dustbin have failed in their attempts to rerelease their back catalogue. They had to bow to public pressure regarding renewable energy sources.
4.
Good for [s]metal[/s] kindling.
Fixed
5. 'It's yer money I'm after baby' and 'give give give me more more more', both by Stourbridge's finest The Wonderstuff.
6. Wish I could afford to buy another one of these. Actually I wish I hadn't had to sell mine inthe first place. Magnificent pieces of kit!
7.
A sack truck? Just wheel it around
OI! Don't come round here with your sensible, practical solutions. This is Basschat don'tcherknow!?!
8. I'd love one. I have no use for it, and it's years since I played even a part of 'Anaesthesia', but that doesn't matter. Cliff was a big inspiration to me when I started playing. Maybe we should squeeze 'For Whom the bell tolls' into the set to justify my GAS.
9. Lucky lefties. Pretty slim pickings from this year's crop I'd say.
10. Short haired animal pelts are considered very effective at this sort of this. Is impossible skin the Jack Russell and do everyone a favour?
11. Great rig that. I gigged exactly the same kit for years and years and it just kept on going.
12. Ghostbusters. Top Gun. The Wicker Man
13. We finish with Maiden's Hallowed Be Thy Name. Then inevitably a couple of encores.
14.
You can play fretless in any genre.
Me? Thank you, I think I will!
15. I was made redundant a few years ago and spent more time than I would have liked out of work. I had to part with my Blade B15. Loved that bass, best Jazz I ever played.
16. If he's going through the PA then you could always EQ the errant hand out of the mix... Failing that, there's always some improvised 'surgery'...
17. Slander were out at the Park Inn in Darwen, Lancashire last night, and to be honest it could have gone either way. The venue has changed hands since we were booked, and the new Landlady didn't have any contact details from us - she wasn't even sure we would turn up, so there was no advertising etc... Long story short, she's really passionate about live music (spent many years putting on gigs in London as a day job), absolutely loved us and wants us back - it helped that a few dozen close friends and reprobates dropped in for a drink too. We played a blinder and everyone had a blast. Top result all round!
18. Well done for finding that. I was thinking about the end credits... http://youtu.be/qv0_WvI2s8I?t=50m54s
19.
I discovered only yesterday that you can't use a touch screen when wearing woolly gloves. (Just had a little chuckle when the only word my predictive text suggested after 'woolly' was 'mammoth')
That's just as it should be Shell! Kudos.
20. Nice that. Can't help thinking that Rotosound should make B strings that fit though...
21. Anybody else sign up for the Waves 'Everything Audio' online video and catch Larry Graham laying down some funk with his drummer? Then completely f***ing it up with a NAAAASSSSSTTTYYYYY fuzz pedal and phase shifter? I was embarrassed to watch it.
22.
Interesting I was thinking a "pub band" was the sames as what we call "bar/club bands". Now it's apparent they not the same at all.
Sadly not.
23.
I suppose I like to listen to and play a range of genres. I'm using limiting in the sense of playing in a pub rock band means that I play pub rock. In a jazz trio I play jazz. I can't see these two crossing over.
Try.
