Sold

Nice these, I swear by my DHA pedal.
3. Compressor pedal or an eq pedal with a master volume to boost the output.
4. I keep my "thrown together in a shed" 1x12 in my shed (cost about £20) to make. I wouldn't put my hydrive in there though...

Necks (parts)

Don't let the price put you off; I absolutely LOVE my Mighty Mite neck - very, very playable! MMmmmmmmmm
6. I'm using a Coloursound Bass Fuzz clone and I'm loving it. Slightly over budget, so I built one for a fraction of the cost.
7. Can"t post pictures at the moment, but my SWR220 is my current squeeze. Very flexible piece of kit!
8.
are you saying that we should not have missed it for some reason ??
I miss loads of stuff. Eastenders, my own birthday, the toilet seat. The list goes on.
9. You could always use some old 5 string strings and use them to enlarge the existing grooves.
10. Butane and cigarettes in the same photo - isn't that a bit dangerous?!? Nice looking bass that but alas, 'tis my curse to be born right-handed. Have a bump anyway.
11.
I`m yet to visit, as I fear it will be an expensive trip...............
+1000
12. started off borrowing a mate's Tascam Porta 02, then one of these: through Cubase VST with a pair of 20 bit Echo Layla interfaces in my desktop machine. http://www.pcrecordi...om/laylarev.htm Nowadays it's Protools 10 and an MBox 2. At some point I had a lovely Tascam 34 tape machine that was lovely, but a pain in the arse to maintain.
13. Does Gene Simmons' 'Punisher' signature bass actually spit flames? That's a deal-breaker for me. Sorry.
14. Have you looked down the back of the sofa?
15. Just did a little test recording tonight after finishing the bass for a separate track to demonstrate the HH fretless Jazz setup. http://snd.sc/1e6Q5Nh The first sample is a little distorted due to the ridiculously hot output of this baby...
16.
Not really, just get rid of the black keys and have 11 white ones per octave
But then all the pianist's hands would be too small... Excuse me, I think I need to lie down.
17. I used to import MIDI files into Sibelius (but much cheaper programs will do the same thing) and then play along with what was on the screen. It's a bit cumbersome but it worked for me.
18. No, simply because of the dangerous voltages inside of them. Reading through your post though, it looks like you know what you're doing, so more power to your elbow, glad you're enjoying the sounds!
19. Horrid, horrid feeling. I have recollections of using a '75 reissue Jazz in a studio and having exactly the same problem. This is the only reason I've never owned a Fender.
20.
Well yes, but a lot of punk bands were not exactly blessed with even half-decent singers either.
True, but at least they sounded like they meant it.
21. Some people are born singers, some achieve singing and others have singing thrust upon them. Couldn't carry a tune in a bucket!
