Fretless
Oooh, tempted to take the lines off mine now that I've seen that. Is it easy to do yourself or should I take it to a specialist? Also, do distance selling regs apply to gumtree?
2.
Thank you, am going to have it apart later to see if I can do this.
ditto!
3. Gobsmacked that this is still here - it's an absolute bargain at that price!
4. I've heard of people using 1200 grit sandpaper to work superglue into the fingerboard grain on fretlesses when playing with roundwounds, I'm not brave enough to do it to mine. Anyone ever heard of this or is it a dream I had?

SOLD

Nobels were massively over-engineered back in the day - awesome pedals!
6. Or, as you're only in Bolton we could meet up and you could have a play with mine...
7.
Anyone who thinks they're buying a Fender just because it says 'Fender' on the headstock is making a mistake!
I think the same about basses with 'Warwick' on the headstock... (runs for cover)
8. Just found this brilliant resource for finding/learning PT shortcuts. http://keycommands.info/protools-10-keyboard-shortcuts.php#editing-nudging-trimming
9. I sometimes admire my pedalboard, as it's got many, many more lights than my actual rig (if there are a lot of lights on the SWR then generally I'm about ready to pop a speaker or similar), but we all love to look at kit. You don't need help, the rest of the world is askew.
10. Ah, I was expecting some progressive socialist ideology. As you were.
11. Ian Hunter's "You nearly did me in" http://youtu.be/7bMA823HmNQ and Anthrax's "The devil you know" http://youtu.be/TT76uz21TNg
12. That's a beauty Bob. Wish I had (any) money!

SOLD

Can't speak for the rest of it, but the Mighty Mite necks are superb. I'e got on one my 'bitsa' Jazz and it's a joy to play. If the bodies are anywhere near as good then this is a LOT of bass for the money.
14.
PS the DiMarzios sounded fantastic tonight
15. Choose whatever wood you like, just don't let them put those horrible 'speed bumps' on the long thin bit!
16. I dated an Ampeg cab once. She were a big lass, but a bonny lass wi' loads of bottom too.
17. I did this to my 'bitsa' Jazz. A sort of happy medium
18. I play loads of different crap - some of it quite well... Done musicals, fashion shows, tribute bands, prog/progressive stuff, backed Blues artists, dinner jazz, funk/disco bands, classic rock etc... and you try telling the young people of today, they won't believe you!
19. I put a pair of GFS Jazz pups in my fretless Jazz and they're lovely. Cheap as chips too!
20. For sale: 2x BBOT bridges, no screws - £5 each 2x P Bass pickups - £7 each I've got screws and springs for the pickup, but no screws for the bridges.
21. Yup, Roto have always been brilliant in my experience.
22. The worst thing is that some people don't get how important it is.
