I really like the look of that 5 string corvette. Always have. I think it's one if the few 'non-fender' body shapes that is genuinely beatiful. Lots of manufacturers try to reinvent the wheel, or try to be different for the sake of it but the fluid lines of the 'vette are a triumph of musical instrument design.

Personal hygiene is important in confined spaces - so have a bath! Seriously though, get in and set up as quickly as you can. If it's a borrowed amp/already in the rehearsal room and it sounds sh*t don't make a fuss, just try to make the best of a bad situation. Oh, and take a spare lead.

[/quote] I've used this method of 'gating' my new 'supermuff' and, although it gates the signal, you need to roll the volume up to full - essentially you've voltage starving the transistor which results in a MASSIVE volume drop. Hmm, there must be a better way to do this...

For detailed listening and recording at home I swear by a pair of Grado SR60s - excellent quality. I've also got a pair of old Fostex T10s that are very good, but don't really stack up next to the Grados. For general in-ear stuff I love the sennheiser CX300s, though they can be a little bit boomy in places. I've used loads of different in-ear stuff (Sony, JVC etc) but they all seem to colour the sound a bit too much for my liking.

I'd on Sibelius first and loving it. If you need to produce pdf files for posting online then why not just do a screenshot and tidy it up in a photo app?
