1.
Well i think intentions are good.....i tried to enter but the link is not working (On the Facebook Page) .....just my luck
Aah fumps, you could fall in a bucket of tits and come up sucking your thumb.

3. I entered, there's nothing on my Facebook account that can't be got anywhere else on the net. Although, didn't Rob play a precision for most of the 'Big 4' set? Hmm....
4. Oh my, soldering tonight... Thanks for the link Al.
5.
If you want it to clash and to create dischord, it will sound great.
SOLD!
6. repeat after me: "My name is (insert online pseudonym here" and I have a problem with GAS". My pedalboard has been in a state of flux ever since I joined BC. I've kept my main bass and my cabinet but have been through (if memory serves) 4 different heads and probably somewhere in the region of 20 pedals in 18 months. Not. Good. fun though...
7. The highest I could hear was 16kHz (Macbook Pro into Grado SR60 headphones). I'm only 37 . To be honest, the difference between 16kHz and 20kHz is probably only about 2 or 3 notes, and this sonic territory is the stomping ground of harmonics as opposed to fundamentals, so I'm not too worried. Also it's off the internet - everything on the internet is a lie anyway.
8. Mine is a 'Bender VaJazzle Bass'

COMPLETED!

Quite possibly. I'm bereft of a practice amp at the moment and am in sunny Mancunia on Thursday (Picadilly/Ardwick area). I'll PM you
10.
A Flying SG?
or maybe an SV? Either way it's not going to win any beauty contests.

DIY Effects

managed to score a tonepad Small clone pedal from my brother this weekend. Got the chance to play it last night and it's absolutely beautiful - I need to finish putting my fretless back together now so that I can go mwah, mwah properly.
12.
I think If I bought one and found it was not done by him I'd feel a bit sheepish.....
How about half a sheep in brine?
13. Sadly not, I've got an ex-student who's got a stand of Cigar-box guitars and that sort of thing; I think he's running as D810 guitars. You could pop by and say hello if you're interested in detritomusicology (making instruments from junk!).
14. Unichorus SOLD, just the trem left.
15.
I always seem to sound better when the other musicians are much better than me.
So did Miles Davis...
16. Can't believe I missed James Jamerson. Badness.
17. It's like a finger pointing at the moon - DON'T concentrate on the finger or you will miss AAAAAALLLLLLL the heavenly glory.... I suppose I'm pretty good, I've also got computer hacking skills and bow-hunting skills.
18. looks like he's moved the bridge so that the strings sat in between the pole pieces. Rookie mistake.
19. Matt Freeman fron "Rancid"? NSFW I'd definitely agree with Billy Sheehan being considered a 'virtuoso'. Like it or not, it's an impressive technique.
20.
Who is the tenor player who play the last solo? I like his ideas.
Ditto, his horn needs a polish though.... I'll get my coat.
21. I played my brother's VM Jazz a few weeks ago and have been telling myself that I don't need another bass since - loved it.
22. Hi All, due to the arrival of my new preamp I'm taking the East pre out of my main squeeze and letting all of the tone happen using valve goodness. Bottom line - I'm selling my East Retro 01 - slot this into pretty much any Jazz bass and you're away. It's the new style "solder less connection" model, so all you'll need is a little screwdriver and you're away. Awesome bit of kit still with the original box, instructions and paperwork. SOLD
