1. Desperado, or anything else by the Eagles. I think unless you have at least thought about going to the states (or at least, out of East Lancashire) then you have no right to play anything 'Americana'. I also think the Eagles are sh*t, so I guess that doesn't help.
2. still up for grabs if you want it.
3. Hi All, having played around with it for a` while I realise that I have too many dirt boxes on the board, so I'm thinning my collection out. Since this is the one I use the least it's the first to go. Really good nick with original box (that's a bit dog-eared though) Looking for £50 posted to mainland UK. Any takers?
4.
A couple of my favourites: This one sums up in music the way I feel about the way we have abandoned our heritage, you can't beat a good protest song
Brilliant songwriting, awful video directing. At least it's that way around though.
5. You'll be able to run them in series and still have an 8 Ohm load, but then you'd probably be limited to 100W. It's always worth Emailing Hartke, they're pretty nice people. Also there's a Hydrive 410 for sale on here - please buy it quick, as there's only so long I can resist getting a second one...
6. VX210 is 8Ohm and 250 Watts, 4.5XL is 400W and 8 Ohms, You'd probably end up with a 200W cab,a s (i think) the cones in the VX are 125W each, and the XL cones are 100W each. Depending on how they're wired inside the cabinet your impedance may drop to 4 Ohms, which might be an issue if your amp is delivering 250W at 8 Ohms (to match your current cab). If your head will go down to 4Ohms, then you'll be chucking out close to 400W (max) into a 200W cab - net result is two more blown cones...
7. Hi All, I've been through a couple of dozen dirt boxes in the last year or so, and am sort of happy with the James Lomenzo box at the moment. I've suddenly realised I've played just about everything except the Boss ODB3. Are they any good for just adding a little bit of grit?
8. Agreed, really shoddy plastic, but I used to run mine in a looper, which meant that I never touched it. To my ears it did sound better than the Boss one.
9. it's all over when Angelina Jolie finds out who stole her lips and takes them back. To be fair, Lana's hardly moving them when she 'sings', so there'll be very little wear and tear...
10. Immaculate condition with original packaging and instructions. SOLD
11. Cool video, thanks for posting.
12. My Macbook had a sever injection of toddler-saliva, so I've only just caught up with this thread. I'd like to echo my thanks to Jason at Rotosound and Discreet for being cheeky! I look forward to putting the handwounds through their paces... Just a thought Jason, is it worth doing some recordings (while the strings are brand, spanking new) for you to analyse?

Fuzz!

Good luck to you; trying to find the "Hysteria" tone opens up quite a can of worms. Bass signal gets split 3 ways: reissue Russian big muffs (2 of) and an Animato (again, good luck) and onto discontinued Marshall bass heads...
14. A now redundant GR mark 1, complete with all original packaging (including the cute little screen printed bag) with velcro on the bottom. It's in particularly good nick but I'm not really using this at the moment, which is a shame because it's the best filter I've come across. SOLD Pics to follow.
15. Yowsa, that's a lot of tone combinations.
16. You could still weigh it in for scrap and turn a profit.

Why?
The trick for me now is not to over-use them.
You can't say that when Bootsy is your avatar!
