1. Failing that you could look on BC's very own list of recommended amp techs here.
2. Ab - 4th fret 'E' string. Lovely sound. Not G# though, that would just be wrong...
3.
I still use mine, but with an exP pedal. Set to modes 10&11, I get some really great swell/ sweeps
actually, yeah, I used to run mine with an expression pedal and things improved vastly. The whole setup was just too big for my board though.
4. EHX bass micro-synth. I replaced my SYB5 with one of these. It still won't store presets, but is a bit more musical and tracks better. Granted, it's not really a synth pedal at all (just good filters and an octaver), but still better than the SYB-5.
5. +1. you can put as much current (mA) through a pedal as you like - the stuff that isn't used gets sent back out to the mains. What you can't do is to exceed the voltage rating. I'm in a similar predicament myself - loads of 9v stuff, a 12 V 1.5A valve overdrive unit and an old 24v EHX bass microsynth. 3 plug for the board, and one each for the pre and power amps. 5 plugs for a bass rig? sounds good though.
6. Ass tight jeans? I think he forgot that you need an ass to put in them first.
7. Damn those pudd'n heeds!

Remember to tell people not to bid though...
9.
Too late, I've just asked him about postage to Greece. Wonder how much 'nothing' will cost to get there and how long it will take? I'm sooooo weak.
Tommo replied today with this: £7 000 000000000000000000 ha ha I don't think he's taking me seriously...
10. Just bought a DHA VT2 pedal from Rich. Really fast, smooth, easy transaction. Great communication before, during and after the sale too, lovely guy to do business with - Rich, stop listing stuff or I'll bankrupt myself!
11.
I dare someone to message him and ask how heavy it is?
Too late, I've just asked him about postage to Greece. Wonder how much 'nothing' will cost to get there and how long it will take? I'm sooooo weak.

DHA DI-EQ

I bought a DHA DI-EQ pedal from a fellow BCer and I absolutely love it. I've tried all sorts of different pre's / DI boxes (Ampeg, Trace Elliot, MXR, EHX, Sansamp) and this is fast eclipsing the lot. The balanced DI out is super-clean, switchable between ground, lift and float, and the EQ is really musical. Even though it's solid state it has a real warmth to it, and can do pretty much any clean tone you could imagine - everything from bright, blistering slap to old school thump and thud. My best purchase all year (and there've been a few...). It's small enough to fit in a gig bag and can be powered by a 9v battery as well as a standard 9v Boss style adaptor, so it's ideal for jam nights / acoustic performances. I've even used it to play for a couple of shows and just gone straight into the PA and have always had a great tone. Like all DHA products it's built like a tank, but much easier to operate. For £70 new it's a real no-brainer - I'll probably never go to a gig without it again.
13. I agree with this thread to some extent - there are a lot of snake oil salesmen about, particularly when it comes to musical / Hi-Fi kit. I too am a cynic when it comes to all the jargon (and let's be honest, some ingenious marketing) and would have been prepared to throw my hat in the ring with the rest of the scoffers up until last week. Last week, for the first time in my life I bought some George L cables. Not content with believing what I'd been told I A/B'd my 'old faithful' Van Damme and Neutrik bass lead with a 10' length of George Ls straight into Pro Tools and then used a spectral analyser to measure frequency / signal loss (I know, the telly's broke). There was a noticeable visual difference in the graph results, but not much audible difference. Turns out I'm losing 10dB of signal in the 10KHz-20KHz region (top octave of human hearing), but the drop was down between the -70dB and -80dB region - chuff all really. So, yes, there is a difference that is measurable. Is it significant? Not really.
14. If this pedal isn't on your 'wish-list' then you're dead inside. That is a scientific fact!
15. Cool, will record some tonight. Your little boxes really are the balls!
16. Chances are it's a cracky pot. Some witch-cleaner from Maplins (or similar) should sort it out. Failing that a replacement part is less than a fiver. anything else I'd take it to a recommended amp tech - there's a couple of local ones on pinned somewhere on this site (can't remember exactly where though). HTH
17.
I am also after soundchips for my bass pedals and would be grateful for any please Dave
Would be happy to oblige. What format and where? Cheers, Paul P.S. we need to talk about a VT-1 EQ pedal with a custom finish...
18. Welcome to the club. There's a few of us from Lancashire on here (I'm from Blackburn originally). Maybe we should have our own sub-forum full of cobbled pedalboards, Thwaites bitter and flat vowel sounds?
19. Don't think I'll have the time. I'm in pre-production with an artist, auditioning for (another) band and trying to finish my solo stuff. TBH I'm not really sure this sort of thing is for me - I'm a bit grumpy at the minute and shouldn't really be around people.
20.
... and just ordered from Amazon as an mp3 download
...and currently listening after downloading from iTunes an hour ago.
21.
Not quite the same but I have a VT-1 EQ- drive, which has the same stuff as the drive but lots more too. I bought it to 'dirty up' the tone out of a D class digi amp, which I guess is what you want to do. It does it very well and produces a good variety of drive from just a bit of boost to well over-driven boost. I am impressed with it and it does exactly what I want from it and some other stuff besides.....
DO you have any sound samples of this little beauty, as there aren't any on the DHA website? I'm currently loving the DHA DI EQ, but want a bit more dirt to the desk, maybe this is the one.
22. also - dude should have maybe washed his hands before broadcasting images of them worldwide. Try to maintain at least some standards, dearheart.
